NozeSeal
Re: NozeSeal
Noseseal seems a bit too pricy when the bleep is covered by insurance for me, and with next to no out of pocket cost. Stuart's got lincare carrying it now and aeroflow, and that's pretty much the whole dang country. Biggest pain was shifting suppliers to get it and finding a prescription, but wasn't hard to do.

Thank you for the update!Agar wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 2:17 pmI tried out NozeSeal last night. It worked with my dreamwear nasal pillows. It was a little clumsy to get the pillow through the hole. They really stayed in place during my left to right side tossing/sleeping. I think I might try it with the medium pillow because it seemed slightly pinched but not too horrible. Of course, I don’t want to pay so much for them and will attempt the DIY suggestion.

When I’m able to get a new mask I’m gonna try the FYI version as the dreamwear nasal cushion’s over the top head port is making me claustrophobic. It was done at first and now when I wake up around 5am I have trouble keeping it one because it feels like it’s smushing my swollen sleepy face.
Is still prefer the Bleep since it’s more similar to the nasal cushion, the way it sits next to the nose but I’d have to try a DIY with it because my insurance doesn’t pay every 2 weeks but 1 per 3 month. Still need to call them though and verify that but why would the DME not know how often they can get paid, ya know?

Re: NozeSeal
Intriguing thread. Before I saw it, I thought I'd try somehow taping my P10 to my face so I don't have to use the slippy head straps which give me headaches and... they slip.
The tape or NozeSeal wouldn't be to maintain a seal per se, but to keep the pillow section on without straps. I am also trying the Bleep, but so far hating it bigly.
If anyone can tape on a P10 successfully, do tell!

Just thought of this from another thread but what about trying nozeseal with a tap pap with the mouthpiece removed? It’s go up over your head, do you think that work With the tape?

Easy to remove the mouthpiece of the TapPap, so I just tried it. You should have seen me with a Covid mask holding the TapPap against my face! I thought, hey those elastic ear holders might be comfy! Predictably, that didn't hold well enough, though it actually got close. So I kept adding strategic tape. Not gonna work. Hose and the superstructure are set too far away from the face for tape to hold tightly. That was one thing I liked about the Tap Pap, the rigid hose went upward and didn't touch the face.

Re: NozeSeal
Ah!! Thanks for doing the experiment for me

Re: NozeSeal
So I’m looking for a different mask in Google and the link for this was at the top of the list. Can anyone tell me what makes these are in these 2 pictures? I think they are 2 different ones but it’s hard to tell. Thank you!

Re: NozeSeal
Actually now it’s easy to tell they are 2 different ones. I’m interested in the older ladies one with the swivel joint at the hose!
Possible the nuance pro and p10?

Re: NozeSeal
I don't have the NozeSeal, so I didn't fully do your experiment, but I fear the Tap Pap would be too heavy to be held on by only that. The P10 is so light, that has a better shot.
