My sleep docs have always stated 7.5 hours is optimal for the vast majority of adults, and to avoid naps. If one naps, it should be under 30 minutes. There are about 16 rules to enhance good sleep. Love the one which asserts that sleep is better if you wear your socks. Seems true.

I have no problem sleeping...If I wake during the night, I read some of your posts.....I'm back to sleep in minutes.
