First night not looking so good
First night back on therapy after a 5 year break. Originally prescribed a pressure of 8 cmH20. Now I have a ResMed S10 auto set to 6 - 12. I noticed that my time seems to be off by about 12 hours. Where can I adjust the time to make it correct?
I attached a screenshot from Oscar. Can someone please help me to understand why the centrals are so high and what changes I might need to make to my machine to improve this AHI.
Thanks to everyone in advance.

Re: First night not looking so good
Fill out Profile with equipment (not just e.g. "Resmed") so we have what to consider. Any reason your max pressure's only at 12?
Re: First night not looking so good
There is a clock and calendar on your machine that can be set manually.
Explained in the combo manual.
https://www.respshop.com/manuals/ResMed ... %20her.pdf
Turn off EPR or use it in Ramp only mode and make use of the ramp feature (explained in the manual).
You also probably need to increase the minimum and maximum a bit but I suggest one change at a time and the first change being turning EPR off.

Changed my profile. Thanks for the pointer. The only reason the max pressure was set at 12 is because I never needed above 11 before on my last machine but obviously things have changed over the years.

Thanks for the advice. I will turn EPR off and up the maximum pressure to 15 while I am in the settings.Pugsy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 9:08 amThere is a clock and calendar on your machine that can be set manually.

Re: First night not looking so good
Im trying to recall, but centrals can be caused by an increase in C02, as caused by........too much or too little
variation pressure???
variation pressure???
Re: First night not looking so good
Actually centrals are caused by too little carbon dioxide in the blood stream the majority of the time.
Now what can cause too little carbon dioxide levels in the blood can vary a bit.

Sorry for to delay in posing new charts but I had a few nights where I didn't sleep but a couple of hours and I wasn't sure it the data would be useful. Here are my charts on nights that I slept for more than 2 hours. What do you all think?

Just woke up and had trouble going back to sleep so I decided to get up for a little while. I have fairly severe insomnia which has been a little more pronounced since starting CPAP.

You've responded well to the changes in your settings. If I were you, I'd leave the settings where they are for a week or two. That may allow your body to adjust and bring down your CA numbers further. Later, it may be worth seeing whether some very gradual increases in your minimum would reduce the obstructive events. So, my take is "steady as you go."
