What to do with my old CPAP machine?

Post by kona0197 » Wed Jan 30, 2019 1:58 pm

Today is a good day, I got a new ResMed S10!! It replaces a 5 year old Responics System One setup. My question is what to do with the old setup? Is there somewhere to sell it? I wouldn't want much for it. Any sites? Sell it here? Thanks in advance. I'm sure someone could use it.

Keep your old machine as a spare in case your new machine has a problem.

I agree with the Dog,,keep the machine. Shit happens..even with new machines. You may need a spare if a machine needs repair. If yours is 5 years old, there is not much value anyway.

Sounds good but my DME is really, really good at repair or replace even after office hours. I'm sure someone out there could use the old machine, it has plenty of life left.

That sounds good until it happens on Friday night and you can't take it to the DME until Monday and they have to send it out for repair. Try Craigslist...
By the way...You are showing an Elite in your profile and you said your pressures were 9 to 13

Fixed. Thanks. :) I guess if anyone here wants it they can contact me. In the meantime I'll try what you suggested.

I think you still haven't chosen the correct machine if you have a machine that will auto adjust
This is what you are showing now.. The AirSense 10 CPAP
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... p-humidair

If it will auto adjust to a range of pressures it is the AirSense 10 AutoSet.
If you don't see it in the "A's"....look down in the "R's"...as I think they stuck it down there with ResMed in front of the AirSense

I DO wonder why in the heck they did that!
Really questionable to bury the good stuff way down at the bottom.
