Hi all,
I tried using airsense 10 autoset for 1.5 months, and my conclusion is:
I need a pressure of somewhere between 9.5 to 12.5
I can't have more then exhale pressure of 5 otherwise I start swallowing air
So I was using the machine with min pressure of 8 max of 10 and epr 3. But still not enough pressure (to keep me asleep through the night )and swallowing air.
You could see all my graphs for the 1 and half month here( in december i was sleeping in any position, then in january i used tennis ball to sleep on my side which requires less pressure :

I have very low AHIs but my problem is I keep waking up through the night ( it seems that my awakenings decrease when I increase the pressure but I'm not able to pass 10)
I think my awakenings are because of RERAs ( I have LPR from GERD and it's inflammation around larynx so air flow gets limited , so my body is still trying harder to breath with normal airflow so it wakes me up)
I would like to set pressure from 10-13 but I can't because the aerophagia.
So I changed my machine to an aircurve 10 vauto.
My question is what setting do I use?
Is there an issue to have a high PS?
I was gonna use max epap: 4
Max ipap: 13
PS : 6
My goal have ipap somewhere between 10 to 13 and keep epap to 4.
Is that too big of a gap? Is there an issue to have PS 6 to 9 ?
i hear a larg gap can cause central apneas, how large of a gap is that ?
Also could you also tell me what to set the other settings? Till trigger cycle.
Thanks
Changed to bipap for aerophagia, still fragmented sleep

Re: Settings for aircurve 10 vauto to fight aerophagia ?
i tried it last night, i set epap to 5(based on my cpap history looks like less than 5 i get OA), i set PS at 4, and max IPAP to 13.
i woke up almost every 2 hours still, i only resetted the machine twice to mark the wake ups, but there was another 2 awakenings that i did not mark. felling drowsy today like almost every day, the machine self titrating shows median of 9.12, there is few CAs . i did not have almost no aerophagia which was an improvement over the cpap with EPR 3.
So what do you advice i do now? what settings do i change ?
