The OP has been using CPAP since 2006:

I have spoken to my Dr and he knows I am on Cpap.
Now it is up to me to work past these thoughts! I am
seeing a therapist and trying to work on letting go
of my negative scary thoughts.
I have been on Cpap since 2006 and my medicines. My
antidepressant has stopped working and we tried an
increase that blew me out of the water. So I am back
down to normal dose of antidepressant and increased
Clonazepam so I could settle down. I had to do this
because I was having panic attacks all day. Will be
trying an increase or another new antidepressant.
You all have helped me to feel better being able to talk about this.
And at this point we know the OP has a very good treated AHI since in the first post s/he said his/her AHI = 0.2, with a CAI = 0.1.

Just a quick word. "Purely" Central Sleep Apnea (i.e. central in the absence of obstructive) is very rare. Mixed is more common, and can be a complication of the obstructive variety or it can be caused by CPAP in some cases. That having been said, I'm not aware of anybody dying or suffering a serious complication because of a CPAP induced central (or "clear airway") episode.

Why on earth would you assume that Susan smokes, drinks beer, eats out a lot, etc.? How presumptuous!

Thank you so much for all of your help.
I really appreciate it. I only woke up
2 times lastnight which is an improvement.
I will be getting a laptop next month. Waiting
For tax free weekend.
Right now my main goal is getting my panic attacks
down again. This time really threw me for a mental
loop. I am working on relaxing before bed so I
don't keep being afraid to take my medicine.
Just taking things a day at a time right now.
Very happy to know a central event isn't a bad
thing.
Thank you
Susan

Good to hear you're making progress getting back to where you want to be.

Library staff are known to be helpful people and I'm pleased to know you had a good experience there. But, what one person did in one library system should not be extrapolated to assume other libraries would do the same thing.

Downloading a document or ebook (essentially static data) is a different operation from uploading an active program that can affect the safe operation of a computer system. I stand by my previous comment.
O soft embalmer of the still midnight,
Shutting, with careful fingers and benign,
Our gloom-pleas'd eyes, embower'd from the light,
Enshaded in forgetfulness divine

=======

i never assumed anything
YOU are the one that made the statement that if Susan just gave up these things, she would be able to buy a computer in no time when YOU said:
xxyzx wrote:or save up and buy a used laptop
it wont be many dinners out, six packs unchugged, cigarettes skipped, movies unseen, or whatever
and then you can be independent and have your own computer
