That's really quite an old model and you have no idea if the mask will fit. If you an afford it, get a new one, an auto and data capable beyond just compliance.

Yes, absolutely. I am sure there are folks here who would prefer this model to the dreamstation.

Couldn't access the price - a lot depends on the hours on it and their definition of demo. Was it an in store, on the shelf demo? Or was it a loaner type demo? Oh an the model - doesn't say which model 60 series it is.

Come back with that info for better comments.

Depends on the price and the number of hours it was demoed.

Oh...your poll....you need to separate frequency of replacing for filters and tubing. Offer separate choices for each instead of lumping them together.
Filters could be needed to be replaced a LOT sooner than tubing.
I need to replace my filters monthly but I am using the same heated hose that I was using years ago...it has probably over 10 K hours on it.

There's nothing wrong with demos, but price will depend on exactly what model it is (you want full data capability, not just compliance, AHI and leaks) and the run hours on it. Will the place provide a warranty or service it the first year? The price should reflect that.

it's one generation back, that's not really "quite an old model".

Hi Kraz, since your paying out of pocket there are some great deals on top of the line APAP machines on craigs list. I just recently purchased a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset with 900 hours for 200 plus I paid shipping. True it does not come with a warranty but the thing works like a charm and I have my S9 Auto as backup...just sayin, good machines are out there...

+1 (though my current heated hose is newer since I got an AirSense 10 AutoSet)

I'm not sure how much they are charging you for that used machine but I can get you a brand new Dreamstation auto cpap complete with humidifier, tubing, carry case, and a mask (all brand new) for $400 shipped.
