Just got my APAP machine last Friday and pleasantly surprised at how much smaller it is compared to my S9. But it's a little oddly shaped so it still takes up a weird amount of spacw on my nightstand. I decided to put my APAP on the shelf of my nightstand....but was concerned about it gathering dust, etc.
I've been looking for a clever way to keep my machine in a basket or crate and just tossing a towel over the top when not in use. Tonight I found a plastic storage container that is essentially a bread box for my AirSense 10. I guess it's officially called a Drop Front shoe Box. It in there well, and we drilled a hole in the side panel so I can thread the cord thru to plug in the machine. There are some slits on the bottom of the bin but the cord wouldn't feed thru well enough. Sorry to geek out on you all. Lol
Anything to be adherent to the regimen, right?

Thanks! I looked into those night stands....but I'm not sure I can part with the length of my current one (it's like a console table).

I can't envision exactly what you did. But, is there a chance that this arrangement could cause the machine to overheat, and is the air intake on the machine partially blocked?SleepyHound wrote: a bread box for my AirSense 10
Your efforts seem a little ridiculous to me. Yes, my machine will gather a bit of house dust sitting out on the nightstand. Once a week or so, I use the vacuum cleaner brush or a dust cloth to take care of it. My current CPAP has been in use about five years without a problem.
Suit yourself.

Time to dust mine!
Does "storage" mean hiding it?
Why? BH&G is not coming over; are they?
If so, that would be an opportunity to improve awareness.
