It was my mother's before we switched her to a hospital bed and it was only just over a year old so we didn't want to get rid of it. We got it specifically for her hip and shoulder problems.
For Christmas this year, I got a fully adjustable hospital bed and a wonderful latex mattress. I raise my shoulders and knees up just enough to create a ditch for my hips and I no longer have any hip pain!

When Mom died we sold it back to where we bought it. None of us could look at it, never mind use it. Yes it would have been nice, it did everything at the touch of a button, but we just couldn't.

I fall asleep more quickly with cpap than before.
It feels like I have less pain all over, and tend to change position less.
I mostly sleep on my side, but often find myself on my back.
