I didn't find that I needed a connector hose for the DreamWear. Didn't need to use the hose hanger that I use with the Swift FX, which is what I would have needed the extra connector hose for. The hose just takes care of itself in my case runs around my pillow, no problem. That's one of the good things about the DreamWear, the hose coming into the top of the mask, into a swivel connector.

I don't use a short hose either. My heated hose from the machine is routed between my headboard and mattress. I have never experienced any tugging etc... with the Dreamwear. The fact that I have no hose anywhere near my face is just another reason why I love this mask over the others that I have tried.

I think it depends on one's sleep habits. As someone who sleeps on his side and turns quite a bit at night, I find anything other than the hose routed from overhead to be disturbing. In that case, a thick and/or stiff hose tends to restrict movement and weigh on the mask connector. With the short, flexible overhead routed hose, I never feel or touch it, regardless of where I place my arms, which is all over the place.

I'm not alone in my opinion, same as you.

Hubby used the Circadiance short hose with his Fitlife.
I tried it on every mask in our collective stash, and it fits.

The hose is from a Nuance, which is very flexible and stretchy and just the right length to fit to the top of my headboard.

The adapter is from a Breeze Sleepwear nasal pillow mask. Breeze currently lists Part Number Y-101976-00 for their hose and coupler. You'll just need the coupler - the hose won't fit and it's too short and stiff for the Dream Wear. I'm assuming that the part number matches the one from my old Breeze masks. (Never throw away old parts!) It all fits together securely and without leaks and without any irreversable modifications. I've just ordered some 7/8" heat-shrink tubing to further insure no leakage, but it doesn't seem absolutely necessary or, if you're not as anal as I, use some electrical tape.
Hmm - I ordered the hose suggested initially, I am hoping it works, if not, I may look into one of these. I also may just use electrical tape. At this point I like the mask too much for it not to work for me.

Do let us know if it works for you. I am thinking it will work.
I can see the short hoses from the other brands/models not working but the Featherweight hose has different ends and I think they will work. Looks like one end will slip in a connection and the other end slip over the other connection. I can't tell which end from the pictures will do what but I am thinking at the mask end it will slip over just like my regular Climateline slips over the mask end.

The SleepWeaver Feather Weight tube does work, it will work as an extension on any standard mask/tube. It has one male end and one female end.

I tried it with my DreamWear. It is lighter, but not as flexible as I'd like (like the ones Respironics puts on the Wisp and others). I tried it for a few nights, but have found that I just don't need it with my setup.

Do people find it helps to use a hose cozy with this particular mask since it routes over the head? Sorry if this has already been asked.

Just wanted to mention that I'm also a very active side sleeper (are we twins separated at birth *smile*?), and the hose hanger is a life saver for me with masks where the hose comes off the nose piece. The swivel at the top of this mask is unique among the masks that I've tried, and it really made things easier for me.

Enjoy your DreamWear mask!
