Mask Liner for FitLife Total Face Mask

Post by Mowgli » Thu Jun 18, 2015 11:43 am

Does anyone know if they make a mask liner for the FitLife Total Face Mask and if so, where to get them? I would like to try that mask but have found the liners beneficial on my Mirage Quattro so I suspect they might also be on this mask.

Thanks for your help!

Karen with pad a cheek does make the liners but you have to call her and specifically request one.

I am actually allergic to her covers. She is awesome and they are high quality covers....they just made by skin break out in blisters. So.....sadly, that is not an option.

Sorry to hear that.

Perhaps buy material you aren't allergic to and make some of your own? Search the archives if you need more information on how to do it.

A well-washed old white cotton t-shirt can be sacrificed to make custom mask liners.
Would that work for you?
You could also try a full size Viva paper towel, if you can tolerate it.
Just trim it to something resembling a gasket.

The old white cotton t shirt might work. I will give that a try. Thanks for the idea.

You could maybe just use the sleeves, then you could still wear it and show off your "guns".

For the FitLife, make sure you do not block the intentional leak areas, which includes all around the nozzle. This is how the excess CO2 leaves the underside of the mask. I guess I do not need to tell you what happens if the CO2 builds up.

That's exactly what I do, and that works fantastically until the sleeve gets all stretched out. I take a brand new shirt and cut off the sleeves, and then I cut a small horizontally oriented oval shaped hole for my eyes and nose. Works like a charm. My hat size is only like a seven, so the sleeves are a bit tight at first. If one has a large hat size, the sleeve might be tight as a squirrels ear!
