Hose air dryer - Datavac Duster!

Post by cosmo » Wed Jan 09, 2013 10:56 pm

I got this DataVac Duster in yesterday. Dries your hose in a 1-2 minutes. I've been eyeing one for years for computer dust removal and CPAP hoses was what pushed me over

There is a filter on the bottom of the unit and the nozzle is a perfect fit for CPAP hose ends. Creates an air tight seal. This is an alternative to the dryer cabinets some people have.

Usually around $55 on amazon.
Metro Vacuum ED500 DataVac 500-Watt 0.75-HP Electric Duster 120-Volt

They also have a vacuum/blower combo unit but I didn't want dust blowing into my hoses.

Cosmo, I think you need to change your username to Gizmo.

That is actually pretty cool. But I'm too lazy to build my own and I did need a dust blower to clean my computers. I had been borrowing an electric leaf blower from my brother to do every few months.
