Thanks for the suggestion, but the problem is really with Encore Pro (I think MyEncore is just reflecting the problem). As a test I erased my card before last night. I received the same error when I downloaded this morning.
I ran a second test, creating a new patient and my download resulted in the same error.
So, it appears the problem is not related to my particular database record (although it may be a problem with the database/tables itself) or it may be a program problem.
Any other ideas?
Anybody had any success finding help from Respironics (either directly or via some hidden support area of their website (a knowledgebase or forum or something)?
Anybody attempted to get support via their doctor, who would be able to talk with Respironics?

Have you tried any of the tools in the "Utilities" directory under the EncorePro install directory?Tridens wrote:Any other ideas?
I noticed, when I was using "Always Ask About Erase" script (or whatever it's called) that there seemed to be some database maintenance related tools. I remember exactly what was there, but there might be something that addresses your problem.
Just a thought...

SickandTired,
Yes, I noticed that too. Before I played around with any of those I thought I'd found out if anyone else had. I think my plan at this point is:
1) uninstall Encore Pro and reinstall, utilizing the same database.
2) If that doesn't fix the problem, I'm going to export my patient data, erase the database and create a new one.
3) if that doesn't work, I'm stuck. If it does, I'll import my patient data into the newly created database. If that doesn't work, I can always start fresh, but I really don't want to lose the 2 weeks of data I already have.
I'll post my results here in hopes they'll help someone else down the road...

Well, here's my update, a little bit late, just in case it can help someone in the future.
The only thing that resolved the problem for me was to recreate the database. No amount of uninstalling and reinstalling Encore Pro or the SmartCard drivers did the trick.
I was able to recover my data though. Before uninstalling, I exported my patient data. After uinstalling and reinstalling Encore Pro, I was able to import it into the new blank database successfully, so that was a relief.

One important point that Derek told me about was that the SmartCard will only hold 7 to 9 days of detailed data. Therefore if you don't upload your SmartCard data to the Encore Pro database at least every seven to nine days, the only data that will remail on your card older than seven to nine days is your compliance data. I found that out the hard way and now have big gaps in my data where I overwrote the interaction data with data from similar dates but without the detail.
