Best decongestant

Post by Mikesus » Fri Feb 18, 2005 7:40 pm

When I was getting treated at National Jewish (Respiratory Hosp In Denver) they are real big on Saline Sinus rinses. Its kinda gross to do it but it makes a HUGE difference. (specially for those with allergies) Link to Kit

Best part is that this does not cause any nasal damage, and cleans a lot of irritants out of your sinuses...

Couldn't do without these saline sprays. I use them every day, along with my Nasal Aire II ~ great stuff.

Thanks for the info on the saline rinses. I'd seen those in the store, but didn't know if they were worth trying.

They do work, but they are far from fun. If you are an allergy sufferer, it will flush all the yuck that you have in your sinuses out, and usually allow a better nights sleep. I am *supposed* to be doing them twice daily, but even with the few times a week that I am doing it It makes cpap usage much easier. Also, I don't get the glob of stuff working its way down my throat... (yech!)
