What Is The APSS?

The Associated Professional Sleep Societies Conference, or APSS, is the yearly Sleep Meeting. Approximately 5,500 Doctors, Sleep Lab Administrators, Manufacturers, Drug Companies, DMEs and even a few patients make it out to discuss the latest sleep developments.

Why Did cpaptalk.com Have A Booth?

To grow the cpaptalk.com community!

cpaptalk.com provides patients with a level of information and support that may not be available to them through other means. We have seen time and time again tired, frustrated people come into cpaptalk.com and happy, compliant CPAP users come out of cpaptalk.com. This real world support works! We want to make sure those who are treating and diagnosing Sleep Apnea patients are aware of the resource they have available to them!

To drive our message home, we got together and discussed the most common, and most difficult to answer, cpaptalk questions. We also took a look at the process of flowing a patient through their diagnosis, sleep study, and treatment. Something stood out: many people are reluctant to go to their Sleep Study because they do not know what to expect. The resulting creation, cpaptalk.com's "Introduction To The Sleep Lab" lets people know what a Sleep Study involves, why it is necessary, and what to do after the sleep study.

We handed this DVD out to APSS Attendees. We had just the right amount as we ran out of the 2,300 we brought to the show three hours before the end of the last day. Luckily, cpaptalk.com is setup to mail out this DVD to those interested for free, so we continued signing people up for their free DVD after we ran out.
