Re: Questions on smart card/pressure/leaks
I haven't missed any full nights, but apparently ripped the mask off on 2 different nights. From what I can tell, it accounted for the time I missed in the count of the days compliant, numbers of hours used, etc., but it didn't mess up any of the averages. It didn't seem to add in false zero's for a...

please review my question list
I have put together a list of questions to have my mom go over with prospective sleep centers and dme's in florida, before she signs up for anything. I know the list is long, but would you mind reviewing the list and see if I've missed anything, recommend changes, etc. Some of the questions I know t...

reviews of "Phantom of the Night?"
Someone had posted asking about where they could find a primer on interpreting the Encoreviewer software data. I had been wondering the same thing, so did an online search and I came across a book called, "Phantom of the Night" written by a pulmonologist and a sleep apnea patient. It looked like one...

Re: Please check my data
Thanks Snoredog. It's amazing to me that my CPAP has essentially eliminated my apnea events. With the leaks and all, it seems surprising to me. I"m not complaining though My first sleep test results in August had 45 awakenings, 57 apnea arousals (9.4 index), 196 hypopnea arousals (32.4 index), 37 sn...

Please check my data
Well, I finally got my Encore Viewer, and am trying to make sense of my data. I thought I would leave it up to the group data guru's...I would really like your interpretations and recommendations please. I hope I did this right. I did screen prints of the 12 page report, copied it into Paint, then up...

There's no exhale pressure relief on that one. Does that matter to you?

Re: Zippered Hose Cover
I am using a hose suspension system called the 1250 Hose Lift with the zippered hose covering and I am not having any problems with the hose pulling or tugging on my mask. Maybe the material slides easier through the little hanger circles than it does over a headboard??

need machine set-up info
I've got the User's manual for my machine, but it doesn't have the instructions for setting up anything except for C-flex (or A flex) settings of 1-3, and ramp pressure...everything else is on or off. Where can I find the information to really change the settings? I never got the one page set-up car...

looking for FL provider recommendations
My mom lives in Bonita Springs, FL. I am wondering if anyone knows a really good sleep doc in that area. Would also be interested in feedback about DME's in area - please post positives but IM me with negatives.
Thanks!

Re: Zippered Hose Cover
hmmm...I just ordered the zippered hose cover from the first link tonight. I hadn't heard of the Papillow hose cover, but now that I've seen it, I wish I had ordered that one. Oh well, if the first one doesn't go the trick, I'll be checking out that Papillow one again. Thanks for the info.

Re: confused about software and card reader
"Just remember......CPAP.COM will (as far as I know) "price match" other online websites' prices, too."
Yes, I wouldn't order without giving them the opportunity to price match, since they sponsor this forum that has been so helpful to me!

Re: confused about software and card reader
So do you guys think it is legit if they're selling the card reader & software bundled for the same price as the card reader alone?
