Re: Having an extremely dry mouth is a sign of mouth breathing?
On some people (me being one of them) REM sleep can show up in the breathing patterns. I actually find the Respiration Rate a good indicator of REM Sleep for me. Looking at the repeating patterns of increased respiration, and the increased Flow Limitations during those periods, this suggests REM Sl...

Re: Having an extremely dry mouth is a sign of mouth breathing?
Hopefully some other people will jump in here .. i certainly can't tell if that's mouth breathing, but the amount of large leak over the night is minimal. About the pressure changes ... do you rely on ear? It looks to me like the machine is upwards adjusting about to the point that exhaust pressure...

Likelihood of getting SD card from Kaiser/Apria?
Just got a machine for my mom (Autoset 10 For Her) and lo and behold, there's no SD Card. The packing slip said a QTY of 1, so I was expecting it either already in the slot (as mine was), or somewhere in the Resmed travel bag. I did not find it. Of course I can go buy my own, but why should I? They ...

Re: Having an extremely dry mouth is a sign of mouth breathing?
That's a nice machine you have there, and since it has the ability to save data on an SD card, you can use OSCAR to see if there is leaking present and at what level. The mouth will get dry with even minimal leakage through it, so then it becomes a matter of how often and how much you care about it...

Re: Having an extremely dry mouth is a sign of mouth breathing?
Hello all, I haven't been able to get OSCAR to properly get all my data via SD card since last Dec. So I went ahead and reinstalled Windows. I was then able to reinstall OSCAR (as a simple uninstall and reinstall did not work) and that did the trick. I am able to get all my entries. screenshot-20200...

Having an extremely dry mouth is a sign of mouth breathing?
What up, party people? Every now and then, perhaps once a fortnight, maybe twice, I'll wake up in the middle of the night--or when I normally wake--to find my mouth absolutely bone dry to the point where it's even slightly painful to swallow for first several seconds. This is with me using the Brevi...

Re: OSCAR v1.1.0 is now Released!!
Sure--do you mind clarifying what personal and other identifying information appears on the SD card? The only thing remotely personal on the SD card is the serial number for your machine. That's it. It's useless information unless someone has a master list of which person got so and so serial numbe...

Re: OSCAR v1.1.0 is now Released!!
I am still unable to import about 120 night history into Oscar 1.1.0. Not sure what else to do. I think we'll need to see a zip file of your SD card. I'll send you a PM telling you how to create the zip file and how to get it to us. Sure--do you mind clarifying what personal and other identifying i...

I am still unable to import about 120 night history into Oscar 1.1.0. http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?p=1349878&sid=26345cedfbf82317294d6b27bb6d35b9#p1349862 I let it sit for about an hour while it was "transferring" and the system just hung. I am using a gaming computer that I built several m...

Re: OSCAR Suggestions & Bug reporting
I am unable to add data to OSCAR even after the recent 1.1 update. I admit I did go a fair bit of time without updating OSCAR via SD card (no wifi). I am on Windows 10. It just hangs and hangs until I have to force quit. Card is in the locked position when I plug it into the computer. It is not nec...

Re: Smartwater substitute during covid-19
During cov-19 crisis, regular distilled water not available. I DO HAVE vapor distilled Smartwater (drinking water) so is that safer to use than tap water? Margaretoc As has been said, tap water is perfectly safe. Just empty that tub every morning to avoid mineral buildup and bacteria overgrowth and...

Re: Can't find distilled H20, try here
So I'm not going to describe the product like most people do because I don't want this to come up via google. However if you are in need of some distilled H2O for your CPAP, I found a good supply at Home Depot. The one I work for is small and it's in a wierd place so perhaps that's why we had some ...

Re: Covid-19, CPAP cleaning regimen
I've been on this good earth 82 years and I've seen a lot in those years and one thing I've noticed is that one rule to shut everything down isn't good for the country. Just because there having problems in New York and these other hot spots is no sign that were having problems here which we aren't...

Re: Deionized water vs distilled water
Anyone know the difference for CPAP purposes between the two? It is now impossible to find distilled water on store shelves, but my local WF does have a refill station for deionized water, whatever that is. It also has reverse osmosis water. Which is the closest to distilled water? I do experience ...
