Re: Next Generation of Machine Deisgn: PR S2's and Resmed S10's

I have incorporated more of your ideas, clarified others, commented on some. You changed the original post we are replying, again? Instead of posting a new version? Nate You beat me to it. Obviously the OP has not read one single post in this thread. Good luck in getting the companies with listenin...

Re: Next Generation of Machine Deisgn: PR S2's and Resmed S10's

Many people have injuries, infirmities and disabilities that result in them sleeping in several locations at home on the same day - bed, recliner, guest room or couch. Others travel with both machines and humidifiers. The market would benefit from a machine that would operate WITHIN a gym-style bag...

I can see it now.......The humidifier knob is right next to the Photon torpedo button. Chunky thinks she is turning the humidity up but instead wipes out three houses and a school.

Re: Next Generation of Machine Deisgn: PR S2's and Resmed S10's

Allen consider the Brick Wall surge protectors that work on a different principle and do not self-destruct. That's what I use with my CPAP. Not a commercial, just a satisfied user. http://www.brickwall.com/ While they might be something to consider, there are a couple of things that stand out. The ...

- - - Leave your tube and mask out of the bag and then you can discuss it with your friends. For those who are embarrassed the machine design and packaging should not preclude humility or modesty. If you are embarrassed about how it looks, then I might suggest that you go make your funeral arrangem...

Re: Next Generation of Machine Deisgn: PR S2's and Resmed S10's

It's an incorrect assumption that people want to show-off their medical equipment on their night tables as they would a Tiffany lamp. Modesty is an important issue for many of us who would prefer not to be queried about our sleep disorders. I have no problem with it being seen. It is a medical cond...

Re: Change masks and DME American Home

Here our American Homepatient is about as clueless as Lincare/Apria. Heck the one here couldn't even find out anything on the Aloha when I wanted it and it had been out for a while. But I have been down this road. I firmly told my new DME that I didn't need fitted and knew what size I wanted. When t...

Some simple digging on the internet found......... http://www.medicaldepartmentstore.com/SleepMapper-Bluetooth-p/sleepmapper.htm It says it works with the SleepMapper app. But I am just wondering if one were to have bluetooth on a PC if it would transmit everything that is/would have been on the SD ...

Re: Brick machine, no health insurance - what else can I DO?

I'm not sure why your response here is so defensive - it's not a competition for who's the most miserable. Why are you treating it like one? I'm allowed to be frustrated with my situation, and that doesn't mean it's in competition with yours or anyone else's. She isn't making it a contest. You have...

Re: Brick machine, no health insurance - what else can I DO?

Many people here have given you good advice about your situation. Either....... Go to secondwindcpap.com and look for a machine there. Craigslist is a good place as well to look for a machine. If you live in or near a large city, you will have better luck. Watch here for someone selling one. Talk to...

Re: My DME Horror story

They never told me my machine was previously used. I found out about it on my own, a couple of months after I had been using it. When I challenged them about it, they lied, saying I was mistaken and it had never been used. That is why it is important that you make them show you the machine hours be...

Re: OT: overweight-man-kicked-off-southwest-flight

I think we need seats that can vary in width – as I think about it – first of all. One size does NOT fit all!!! But more to the basic issue it simply takes more resources (space, fuel, bathroom capability) to move the larger man. It simply does not matter a bit why he or she is big. The fact that t...

Re: mask strap's coming undone..

When a mask has buckles,(as most do) the velcro lasts longer--not needing nightly peel-and-stick. Unfortunately, a few masks have NO buckles. Respironics Full life, for one--and the headgear design is not a pull on/off. Designed by Larry, Darrell, and Darrell? Fire those idiots! Edit: I see the Mir...
