Re: Who do you wear it for?

Like many folks I do this as much for my better-half as myself. And actually, I think she's maybe getting more benefit out of this therapy than I am. I wake fairly often anyway due to shoulder or hip pain and have to change position. We've only been married 6 1/2 years now and I never would have gon...

Re: Help with Resmed Auto 25 data acquisition please

Thanks for the advice DTSM...I will. I'd gone to Ebay and was a little concerned because the seller had listed 7 as available and there were 11 sold! So I shot an email to the seller and he affirms that he has quite a few and is offering just a few at a time. So I will get one from him, (unless the ...

Thanks for your input, I really do appreciate the help. Don't know where I'd be now if it weren't for wise folks in this forum with a propensity to help others. All the best.

Re: Help with Resmed Auto 25 data acquisition please

Pugsy, many thanks for the information. I'll see if I can track down the information put out by Mr. Aitchese. Seems like a waste to not capture this information and fill in the blanks for my therapy data. Take care.

Help with Resmed Auto 25 data acquisition please

Recently bought a low-time Resmed Auto 25 to use as a travel/backup unit and really do like it since using it on a couple of 4 and 5 day business runs. I was provided with the previous owners data card but need the proprietary card reader from Resmed to be able to download to Sleepyhead or ResScan. ...

Re: Chin straps

I also like the papcap. I've switched from FFM's to the Swift FX and the papcap allows me to anchor the small hose to the top of the papcap. I no longer have to fight the hose during the night, it has become a non-factor. Initially I was concerned that the papcap might be too hot to sleep in but tha...

Re: How many Resmed S9's DON'T have the bird sound ?

I'm just shy of 1100 hours run time on my S9 and neither myself nor my wife have observed any strange sounds from the machine. We were both surprised how quiet it is.

Re: Aloha Pillow Mask Review

Sounds like the only thing this mask doesn't do for you is play lullabies! Maybe on the next version...guess I'll have to break down and get the Aloha after reading all your glowing revues.

Hello Nan. If you've gotten several offers from folks that don't like the Aloha, please divert them my way as I'd also like to try this mask. All the best.

It's a therapy that might not be effective for you or me, but it appears it has helped some. I provided this information in the spirit of being helpful which seems to be the primary focus of this forum. All the best.

Anti-snore shirt

Hello all, I've recently learned of a shirt that is used to stop you from snoring and understand that it has helped some folks with apnea issues. Maybe some of you have heard of it, I haven't but found it to be interesting. Has anyone here tried it and what do you think? http://www.antisnoreshirt.co...

Re: Need a good chin strap

I bought the papcap w/chinstrap a couple of weeks ago. It's great. I'm a fervent mouth-breather and the papcap allowed me to go from the Mirage Quattro FFM to the fantastic and awesome Swift FX! And now my AHI's are finally below 5 and appear to be dropping! Halleluiah!
