Re: Data check? Sleepyhead interpretation
Thanks, Pugsy. I haven't seen the manual yet. I remember the manual to the ResMed S9 didn't offer the option to get to the "clinician settings" menu. So, this helps. The old was at 14cm and the new range is 10-15, so I might not need to make changes. I know I felt like I was gasping (not like I was ...

Re: Data check? Sleepyhead interpretation
That's a normal night for me. I felt dead on my rear with the reduction in pressure. I'd love to up the pressure a bit. Can I do that on my own? (I fear not).

Re: Long time, no see. Upgraded and unsure.
Thanks, Pugsy. I'll check out the tutorial as well. Having less physical pressure last night was more than unnerving. Of the 8:20 of sleep that was recorded, only 7:20 was productive. It took me almost an hour to actually fall asleep. Happy New Year. What you see on the graphics on SH pretty much ha...

Data check? Sleepyhead interpretation
I'd love to get some feedback as to how my first night with the new machine. Considering I got over 8 hours of sleep and I don't believe in my alarm clock - I get up the time between 5 and 6am (when I NEED to get up) when I wake up on my own. I don't interrupt a sleep cycle. Any feedback would be ap...

Re: Long time, no see. Upgraded and unsure.
Thanks, Pugsy. It's a new laptop as well (last year), and no Rescan yet on it. I d/led sleepyhead and like it. I'd love some opinions on the graphics once I figure out how to upload them. I'll post in a new thread (keeping subjects separate).

Long time, no see. Upgraded and unsure.
Hey, gang. It's been about 3 or so years since I was last here and I've been busy. Sleeping and completing a Master's degree in Counseling. Changed my career and now I'm a Substance Abuse Counselor working on my license. Anyway... I just got the AirSense 10 yesterday and the P10 Nasal Pillows. I'm n...

Re: Been awhile - mask fit / leak rate question
Thank you, LSAT and DreamStalker.
I know that I don't need to be "lealkess", but I had been. And I've been improving for the past 2 weeks as well. Made some tightening/loosing adjustments to the headgear and that seems to have done the trick.

Been awhile - mask fit / leak rate question
Hey, folks. It's been awhile since I've been here. I've been on CPAP for 26 months now and have been 100% compliant since day one. Of course, that little week stint of nighttime shift work had my ResMed s9 confused, so "officially", I missed a night, but I didn't know how to change it for shiftwork....

No poly / plastic allergies have been witnessed on my face or neck.
Good thought, though!

Re: Rash?
Okay, okay. Thank you, Blackspinner. You didn't disappoint me with your response. Nor did you surprise me. I run the hose (S9 - Climateline - no cover) from the back of the machine, loop down to the floor, under / behind my pillow, to my face. I'm the guy who often sleeps with his hand under the pil...

Rash?
No, not on my face or neck. On my fingers. To the point of blood.
Right now, triple antibiotic and latex-free bandage.
Could it be abrasion with the hose in the middle of the night?
Thanks!
