Re: New user :question
You need to first get to the clinical menu by holding down both the HOME button and the big round button for 3-4 seconds. Once you're in clinical menu, then: Click on Settings. Scroll down to Essentials and click on it. Select ESSENTIALS PLUS and click on that. Scroll back up to HOME and click on it...

Re: Dream Wear Mask
I use the Dreamware mask and sleep successfully on my side. Yes, if the mask presses into the pillow it gets pushed aside and starts leaking. To prevent that, I use the Contour CPAP Pillow, sold by our host.

Re: Tried Dreamwear last night - not good result
It's possible that the sounds waking your husband aren't actually leaks, but the sounds of the exhaust hitting the sheets or pillow. That can get pretty loud if the bedding is really close to either exhaust (top of your head or the front of the cushion).

Re: SleepyHead "Time of Day" question
I can't answer the Sleepyhead part of the question. But if you want to change the time (or other settings) on your machine, just push and hold both the home button and the big knob for about 3 seconds. This puts you into the clinical menu, which allows you access to many more settings than the regul...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 autoset for her heat malfunction
I don't know about the error message you saw, but yes, it's normal for the water and the bottom of the humidifier to be warm. When you have the machine set to provide humidity, it does that by warming the water, and the heating element is in the bottom of the humidifier. The air passes over the warm...

Re: Best Pillow for Dreamwear
I use the Dreamwear mask and love the Contour CPAP Pillow for side sleeping. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/contour-cpap-pillow-with-pillow-cover.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwz4u9BRCbioK3stnBznESJADA75xb6_1bswQmfct00K-46XMbJCuK51a1sTOnaGDklKcMsRoCtxXw_wcB . It's not as tall as I needed, so I glued a half-in...

Re: Tried Dreamwear last night - not good result
I'm 6 months into CPAP. Started with the Mirage FX nasal mask, then switched to the Dreamwear 3 months ago. I initially had some leak problems when side sleeping with the Dreamwear. If I put the mask on, adjust everything, then put my head down on the pillow, it leaks with every slight movement of m...

Re: Just got my CPAP Today
No need to wait until bedtime. It really helps a lot of folks to wear it while reading or watching TV, just to start getting the feel of things before actually trying to sleep.

Welcome!
Look above the "Topics" section to "Announcements." At the bottom of that list is a thread titled "Newbie would like to hear success stories, please." Lots of good stuff there. Good luck!

Re: Eson making my nose sore
My first nasal mask was the Mirage FX. It worked well, never made my nose sore, and no problem with leaks. After 3 months I switched to the Dreamwear to minimize the "stuff" on my face. It's more comfortable for me, but I could go back to the Mirage with no problem.

Re: Mask advice
My normal setting (straight CPAP mode) is 10, with ramp turned off. My first three months I used a nasal mask, then tried the P10 for about 10 nights. I never got comfortable with it - always felt like it was too hard to inhale. I did switch from my original Mirage FX nasal mask to the Dreamwear and...

I use (nightly) the "Clear" scent from Pur-Sleep. It's a combination of peppermint and lime.
