Re: S8 AutoSet II
I am new to this to but I have an S8 Escape II. Do you cover the unit at night while you are using it? I have noticed lately that my humidifier chamber will be 3/4 full one night and 1/4 full the next night. So I am getting low humidity and good humidity on different nights. I keep the setting the s...

Soap Cleaners - masks
Just like to know if any of you use laundry detergent to clean the mask parts? I found ALL Free & Clear which has no dyes or perfumes. I tried baby shampoo but the inclosed and concentrated smell I could not handle (I love it on babies). Where does anyone get mild soap without all of the additives

Yes you do have a right to your script. You and your insurance co. PAID for it! If you go to Sears you get to keep the shoes you paid for. The other advice from the forum is good.

Re: It's finally happening!
Dottie,
Who is this guy? Send him to Florida so he can assist me!
I had total improvement after the first night. Maybe I was wanting to sleep so bad it was mental, but I will tell you that it was worth the trouble WE went to

Re: It's useless, isn't it? :(
Dear Dotty, I am with you on the total lack of coordination with us patients on the medical establishments part. As a new cpap-er and a nurse I must say that we were not taught anything about sleep apnea in school. There are just too many things to learn! But the PCP and the sleep study DOCS should ...

Re: Apria
Am I happy camper with Apria? No I am not! Apria decided what kind of equipment I was to receive. When I called for an "appointment" to see the RT to review how to get the humidifier to work they got me in quickly. But he advised me that I needed a superduper upgrade. So I requested from my ENT a ne...

Re: after deviated septum surg. how long til u slept better
When was your surgery? As with any procedure it takes awhile to recover from the "controlled damage". Follow the doc's post-op instructions to the letter. Your recovery will go as quickly as your body allows. Do not get discouraged! I am a new CPAP-ER so I will let other Forum Folk answer how soon y...
