Re: how to fix on/off button resmed s8 autoset spirit 11
Hmm. I wonder if this is the issue my S8 AutoSet II was having (I ended up replacing it). I unplugged it and packed it for a trip. When I arrived, I plugged it in - the start button was faintly lit green, light on humidifier turns on - no other signs of life. I spent a while searching online for inf...

Rainout Airsense 10 in "Climate Control Auto" mode
I have an Airsense 10 Autoset and ClimateLineAir tubing. Last night I switched from the Fisher & Paykel Zest mask to the "Zest Q" - the Q model has a diffuser to limit the air blowing out the mask on my wife. In this regard it works very well - I can't feel any air coming out of the mask. That said,...

Re: "Climate Line Air Fault - Replace Your Tubing"??
Just to add another data point - I received the SX556-0204 humidifier update over the air about a month ago, and I've not experienced the 'replace your tubing' error since. I've only had one ClimateLine hose the entire time.

Perhaps the tubing or humidifier tub need to be cleaned.

Re: Possible manufacturing defect ResMed AirSense 10?
I don't think the Airsense 10 changes time zones based on the cellular network. I had mine setup at a DME located in Eastern Time.. I traveled with the machine almost immediately, I've been in Central Time for the past 10 days but the machine still shows Eastern Time. I know the cellular connection ...

Re: How Accurate Are The New ResMeds? And Advice On Home Study
When I started CPAP, it also had little effect despite being compliant and good AHI. Puzzled, I thought there might me multiple reasons I am tired. Turned out, some medication I was taking was making me drowsy. Stopping that medication had more of an effect on my wakefulness than CPAP did (I still u...

Re: New larger AirSense bag! Has spot for mask
When I'm lugging a laptop and a roll-aboard on a business trip, the last thing I want is a third bag to deal with. I don't ever check bags on a business trip unless it's a gate check on a really small plane where it's returned to me as I'm getting off the plane. See, I like the three bags It is ann...

Re: No Power on FP Icon Premo - Need Help Fast
I just had the same experience while traveling to NYC. My Resmed S8 Autoset II wouldn't power on, I'd never had problems with it before. I couldn't sleep - kept waking up startled - it was annoying, first time in 4.5 years I'd been without CPAP. The fastest route to replacement for me was a Sleep do...

Thats a great idea! Thank you. I was trying to find what I could use as a travel case for my Airsense 10 since the Resmed bags are on the small side.cathyf wrote:For those looking for the deee-luxe option for traveling with a CPAP, check out a camera bag.

Re: Run time Airsense 10 Autoset
Davecpap: wondering why you got a 2nd one. I was travelling for business when my S8 Autoset II died in NYC. The fastest way to replacement was a doctor's office in NYC I found with the help of this board. It was the only place in all of Manhattan I could find selling CPAP machines. The office had a...

Re: Run time Airsense 10 Autoset
Page 22 of the guide Pugsy linked to talks about the 'reprocessing' procedure for cleaning the machine for someone else to use. My 'new' machine had ~140 run hours and 0 usage hours on it... I was there when the DME unpacked it - it was a Resmed cardboard box, the machine wrapped in bubble wrap with...

Re: New larger AirSense bag! Has spot for mask
I personally am not a big fan of the AirSense 10 bag The bag that came with my S8 was amazing - to me the A10 bag is a step down. The S8 bag had tons of room - I would pack 2 masks, 2 tubes, extension cords, chin strap, PapCap - lots of room for spares in case something broke while traveling. Part o...

Re: New larger AirSense bag! Has spot for mask
I actually like the smaller case, and it just occurred to me that I could stuff my P10 into the tank cavity. It would be nice if there weren't separate bag compartments for the machine and the humidifier tank. I'd like to store the machine and humidifier tank assembled; that'd buy some more space i...
