Doctor gives reasons and faxes back to pharmacy. Pharmacy faxes to blue cross. I get a notification from express scri...

Re: OT - Express Scripts (Medco Health) SUCKS!

Now that I think about it, I usually get an approved notice in the mail. Haven't gotten one yet for the Nuvigil.... So I wont get too excited about Nuvigil yet.

Nuvigil was approved (I think)

I received a pre recorded call yesterday from express scripts saying my request for a prior authorization has been approved. And the only medicine I have pending is Nuvigil, so it appears I have Nuvigil now. I believe the dose prescribed is 250 mg. My pharmacy is only open M-F starting at 9:30, so I...

Re: cognitive memory difficulties caused by Silent strokes

From wikipedia: "The diagnosis of a silent stroke is usually made as an incidental finding (by chance) of various neuroimaging techniques. Silent strokes may be detected by: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)[44][45] Computerized axial tomography (CAT scan)[46][47][48] Transcranial Doppler ultrasonogr...

Re: cognitive memory difficulties caused by Silent strokes

Cognitive issues were what led me on this last round of doctors where i discovered the sleep apnea and in the course pf testing, I saw a neurologist, had a brain MRI and a carotid US and was discharged from the neurologist. So I assume that means no strokes since my brain MRI and the US were both no...

Re: Those that sleep on your side or toss and turn.

Its very possible that your flopping around will stop with treatment. DH used to say I flopped around like a fish but as I am treated with CPAP the flopping has subsided a lot.

Re: Just ordered sleepweaver anew full face mask. Any reviews?

I bought the featherlight tube because the videos i watched basically say you need to buy it to prevent leaks by getting the weight off the mask. I'm still unsure of if this mask is going to work for me. I have no major leaking problems. But I'm still fidgeting with the mask all night long to get th...

Re: Why am i still so tired???

Thanks! Saw sleep doc today-- so now I have an insomnia diagnosis with the OSA one. Not uncommon. He did say the OSA is treated and we have to work on the other sleep problems. He also said I appear to be a "long sleeper"... I have a plan and I agree with it. Thanks for the help!!! I really apprecia...

There is a video addressing this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-rc3f5aPSY

Apparently I had the upper straps too tight? I'll have to play around with the headgear again tonight before I go to bed.
