I have owned both. The elite II in AUTO mode has ZERO resistance at 10cm. I have not used EPR on the II why bother when you have no resistance in Auto mode? Zorro, Why not give the milk of magnesia smear a try? Skim milk is also supposed to work in the same manner, though I've never tried it. This info is just an observation however it may be useful to those with a 3m hose. I rigged up an overhead hanger and selected 3m on my display and for 10 straight nights my AHI went from early ones to 2.9 avg.
