Re: Slimline vs Standard Hose
What kind of tape? I like vetwrap, even though it has to be removed and replaced when the hose is washed--because it's stretchy. I read about it here. Since I'm using the Climateline heated hose, this seemed like a good choice: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001HETINI/ref=oh_o02_s02_i00_details

Re: Slimline vs Standard Hose
Hi Dori. If your husband is an active sleeper, the slimline is more fragile, where it connects to the rubber ends. Just wrap a little tape around the connection, if you're concerned about that. My husband prefers the Respironics Performance hose, because it's sturdier, and not that much heaver. He d...

Re: Should I up my pressure?
During your sleep study, were you sleeping on your back? It may be, that for that one night, you needed 14 to have no apneas. If now, you're sleeping on your side, that may account for the lower pressure. I found that after a year or so, I needed a little more pressure, and I think it's because I st...

Re: Tried out the Softgel Nasal Mask
I have a few unused ResMed Softgel cushions, size medium. If you will PM me, I will send them to those in need, for the cost of shipping. If you already have a Activa LT size medium mask, it will fit it. It's my 2 year CPAP Birthday today, and that's a good way to celebrate. I guess Sydney is a bit...

My 2 year CPAP Birthday

I want to thank all my friends at this forum, for their kindness and generosity, help and support. It truly was a lifeline for me, and I can't express how grateful I...
