Re: Need new machine, what's state of art in 2023?
Just curious if anyone knows whether the Airsense 10 Autoset draws more power than the 11 Autoset, as I may be taking this camping with me and I'd like to get as many nights out of my battery as possible. The Airsense 10 uses a 90-watt power supply, while the 11 uses a 65-watt power supply. The 11 ...

Re: Do I have to buy from Lincare?
Nope, you can buy anywhere you want. Lincare (and any other DME) will try to sell you the maximum amount that your insurance will reimburse. Realistically, you don't need all those supplies. Your actual cost will be much lower that what you were quoted. There are lots of places to get masks, filters...

Re: dreamway connector odor
Like anything plastic you pull out of a box, it has that factory plastic smell. It goes away almost immediately, certainly after a night of using it. I guess if you're hyper-sensitive you can probably get it smell like Lysol or bleach or something else.

Re: Bleep Eclipse at Aeroflow
I worked out part of the noise problem. Upon very close inspection there was a sliver of metal, very tiny, stuck to one of the magnets. It was making a small gap between the magnet and the metal circle on the Eclipse halo. I don't know if it came that way - it could have very easily been something i...

Re: Bleep Eclipse at Aeroflow
Looks like Aeroflow has these in stock now. I got my first shipment yesterday and tried them last night. They were definitely louder on the inhale, but that could just be a positioning issue that will get better as I fine-tune how they go on. There is a learning curve to getting them on. You can gra...

Yes. I never slept on my back pre-CPAP. Now I sleep 3-4 hours on my back. It's great.

Re: CPAP in cold weather
\As you can see from these images Temperature could be as low as 44 and I couldn't see any instruction about temperature in the manual. From the AirSense 11 manual: Operating Temperature +41°F to +95°F (+5°C to +35°C) You'll be fine. In a pinch you can stick it in your sleeping bag down by your fee...

Re: Apnea Newbie CPAP adventures (so much yawning?)
Is my AHI still high? I find my self yawning alot during the day as well. Yes, it's still too high, but don't let that detract from the amazing progress you've made. You'll get there in the next few weeks. Follow the really good advice above. The good news for you is those of us with really bad sle...
