Re: Beard / mustache thickness and mask leakage
My beard is considerably longer and fuller than your pic. I've been a mouth breather all my life. I can't get a full breath of air through my nostrils no matter how hard I try. Having said that, I obviously use a ffm (see sig). No problem with sealing or with leaks, with these masks, for about ten y...

Re: Another Useless Poll....Humidity Preferences
I just started with a humidifier about six months ago, after papping for about nine years without it. Started at 3 for a few days. Tried 2 and 1 for a few days. No effect. Tried 4 and 5 for a few days. Too moist. Went back to 3, and it's "just right." Main difference I find, is after getting up in m...

Re: Wrist Sleep Monitors
Yes. I experienced that. Started with 7-8 hours of sleep a night. Then started showing lots of activity and only 4-5 hours of rest a night. Read the "help" section and discovered that my tweaking had changed the display. Short story, "normal" shows how still you were during the night while "sensitiv...

Re: Side sleeping and arms numb - suggestions?
Turning on other side offers quick relief, but takes only 15 minutes to be numb on that side. Doesn't happen during day. And relief within 5 minutes of getting up, maybe even less. Sleeping on back eliminates the numbness, but then nasal drip starts me coughing, which then sends the cats scrambling....

Re: Side sleeping and arms numb - suggestions?
Thanks, Pugsy. That's sort of what I was afraid of. The buckwheat pillow seems to help. Always something.

Side sleeping and arms numb - suggestions?
I have what appears to be a minor problem, compared to many. Machine, mask, leaks and AHI's all good. I'm a mouth breather and side sleeper. Mostly on my left side. My bottom shoulder and arm seem to go to sleep, becoming numb. Either side. Ten years on bipap. Quattro FFM. Use buckwheat hull pillow....

Re: Best way to clean your full face mask.
My procedure: I don't clean it daily. Every two or weeks (or when it looks bad), I wash it in the bathroom sink using warm water with a little Woolite liquid soap, rinse well, and let air dry. At night, it fits against my short beard and conforms well. A mask lasts me a little over five years. I do ...

Re: FitBit -- worth it?
If you want to get the fitbit ($99), you might want to be aware that for $29 more, you can get the one that also will tell you the time.

Re: Edit: Wireless XPAP data transfer is here!
Thank you. That's the information I was looking for. No need to waste time trying to make it work on my W Vista laptop.

Re: Edit: Wireless XPAP data transfer is here!
Thanks. I saw those. Didn't mention Vista, so wanted to ask.
So far, my efforts have produced lots of errors.
Will continue working on it, but was just checking to see if Vista would be fruitless effort.
And not sure on the machine.

Re: Edit: Wireless XPAP data transfer is here!
Many thanks for all the great work going on here. My question - will this work with my PR P750? If not, what data would you need?
Again, many thanks.
Again, many thanks.

Re: CPAP.com and BCBSOK
My experience last month with BCBSNE was pitiful. And I just wanted to know who were some in-network companies in Omaha (no internet suppliers were recognized, period). I called the national number (on the back of my card), and was told that information is only available through the state office, an...

Sorry about not being more specific, made the switch a couple years ago, and had to look it up.
