Re: Any harm in using too high of a pressure?
The leak rates were so so. I'm going to be more careful with smashing my face in the pillow.

Re: How long should a mask last.
Maybe if you didn't wash it so often they would last a whole lot longer. I've had my Swift LT since I first got it about 5 years ago and it looks like it will last another 5. I have a few years worth of mask/mask parts. I'll manage http://imageshack.us/a/img197/8987/18878736.jpg http://imageshack.u...

http://imageshack.us/a/img507/9758/humidifierroom.jpg This is what I keep in the bedroom. You can buy a digital humidity gauge at any Target, Walmart, maybe Home Depot, etc. http://www.walmart.com/ip/AcuRite-Digital-Humidity-and-Temperature-Monitor/16888914 30% was my humidity level at the time. Sudafed might help you during the day. Might also ruin your sleep though.
How is the humidity level in house or bedroom?

Re: Please help me fall asleep with my CPAP....
Are you antsy in general? Any other underlining issues keeping you from falling asleep or is it from the cpap setup? Noise an issue? Tried any head pillows? Whats your pressure range? On any meds? How is the sleep hygiene? Did you have problems falling asleep before cpap?

Re: Any harm in using too high of a pressure?
My own thinking is that cpap is easier for the user. You have a fixed pressure for your breathing to adjust to. Its repetitive and a constant for your brain. A sleep doctor or researcher would know better though. If anyone is going to their sleep doc any time soon. Maybe pick their brain on the subj...

Re: Any harm in using too high of a pressure?
As long as the hose doesn't come loose and you go flying around the room going "PFLBBBB!" like a balloon... I think cosmo just flew past my window. This is why I'm thinking about a remote on/off button for my Autoset for some time. So I don't have to run into that problem again. I would just need t...

Re: Any harm in using too high of a pressure?
I'm going stick to a higher pressure for now. Why not? Wont know the results unless you try. There was a slight improvement with morning time energy level. But it was so minor and could have been unrelated. Basically, no difference in feeling yet. I would need a few weeks before I could make any ass...
