Another Hybird Mod
I just got a replacement cushion for my hybrid. I was about to cut off the chin flap again. I told myself, its there for a reason, how can I get some use from it. Chin Flap Mod Type II: I cut the flap in half with a little snip and tried it on. I then made the snip a little longer, just thru the log...

beavnut33, You are going to have a big project if you are trying to make everyone happy. We all want you to succeed. As stated before the biggest problems are leaks. People using nasal masks are using everything but staples and glue to stop mouth leaks. Oral mask users can't find a good clamp to sto...

Yes its true, MyEncore does not do so well with BiPAP. As best as I can tell the charts use your EPAP pressure range (but are labeled IPAP). I think IPAP and EPAP data is combined for the charts. So you lose all the data that is in your upper IPAP pressures (above your max EPAP). This is not a probl...

I believe any automatic device should have a manual override for extreme cases. I would like to turn off my "Ambient Tracking Technology" on my HC150. I have it set a max and I get just enough moisture with high flow rates (any time its close to 20). When the temp drops and the machine compensates, ...

Error in charts?
Hi Hoseheads, I'm tracking my progress with both Encore Pro and MyEncore. I'm confused by why Obstructive Apnea (OA) is only listed under EPAP and Hypopnea (H) and Flow Limitation (FL) is only listed under IPAP. Does that mean that there is no OA for inhaling? While searching the forum I did see the...

Large Passover Humidifier
Hi Fellow Hoseheads! First, let me thank everyone for all of the great info here. I've learned a lot this last month using the search function. I'm looking for info on using one of the large passover humidifiers that the blower sits on. My HH is set to just shy of max. I think I would like the same ...
