Are you sure it's the mask? Would have expected the machine
If it's the machine, change the filters and let it run for a few hours might help (according to old posts)

Re: New Member, Have some Questions. Thanks! (had sleep study)
I'm fairly new (9 months now...has it been that long!?). The modern machines are way quieter than the one my dad had in the nineties, which sounded like a lawnmower. My model is a quiet whoosh, similar to an over-the-counter humidifier or small space heater's fan. I recommend full-face mask over na...

Re: What do you want on your next-gen S10, PRS2?
With the vast amounts of data storage now available (SD cards), don't limit the "detailed data" to only seven days/nights.......make it available for a much longer period of time. A year? Den, I know you just use your tanks... the PRS1's... will give detailed data on the SD card for all days that t...

Re: Props to CPAP.com
I hope our wonderful (cough, cough) postal system eventually finds the first mask It's amazingly rare that the USPS loses something. I wonder how much longer we'll be able to keep the USPS as an institution as more and more correspondence goes digital. Rare? No. My postie leaves me a card, says tha...

Re: Fluid in ears/Sinus infections
I've had multiple rounds of tubes in my ears due to fluid... have had no issues with using CPAP after. Consistent sinus infections for me was determined to be mastoiditis which had to be corrected surgically.

Re: CPAP and ear issue
I have had ear problems for years... antihistamine's didn't help. Would get ear infections almost monthly. Had multiple sets of tubes in my ears due to fluid. Earlier this year my ENT had me have a CT, only to discover that I had been dealing with mastoiditis. Had a modified radical mastoidectomy in...
