Re: I have noticed something strange lately

Well, here is last nights chart. I really feel like something weird is going on now. Again,...no OAs, a median pressure of 4.46 and a 95% pressure of 5.46 when it took 8cm during my titration to stop them. This makes no sense to me, and I could use any suggestions available to try and figure out wha...

Re: I have noticed something strange lately

Any chance that there is a strong positional component to your OSA and you are just avoiding that position or at least keeping it to a minimum? I am worse on my back, although that is how I sleep most of the night due to back/neck pain (which I know you are very familiar with also). I have been spe...

Re: I have noticed something strange lately

I was using the word 'cured' kind of sarcastically. I know I'm not cured since nothing has changed in my life from meds to weight, or stress. I would be surprised to see a flat 4cm all night considering that I had a titration study that resulted in my initial scrip for a constant 8cm with an ...

Re: I have noticed something strange lately

People have reported issues with sh not reporting flags properly with the airsense 10 machines in rare occasions. Zoom in in the flow rate till you can see individual breaths, and hen loon for any 10+ second pauses that aren't flagged. I just scanned through the FR for all of last night, and saw no...

I have noticed something strange lately

Or I should say it seems strange to me, and that is why I am posing a question to those with far more experience than I. Starting about six weeks ago by looking at my SH charts, by AHI and pressures have changed for certain. I know that a few nights do not make a trend, but this is weeks and weeks n...

Re: AirFit P10 headgear question,......

Well, I used it last night just shy of six hours. My nose is a little sore today, and I also had quite a few more centrals than normal for me. Granted, almost half don't appear real, and it's nothing to be concerned over,....just surprised that changing a mask could impact such a thing. It was proba...

Re: AirFit P10 headgear question,......

I tried that fitting that PR pointed out, and found it to take quite a bit of pressure to pop it loose. I don't think I will be using that as a quick connect. I guess I'll just take the mask off, and get used to another way of doing things. BTW,...thanks Pugsy for the offer of that connector, but I'...

Re: AirFit P10 headgear question,......

As far as the quick connect,....I guess it's just what I'm used to, and I really like it. I hate taking off a mask in the middle of the night. I am a light sleeper, and the longer I have to fiddle with stuff, the more I awaken, and the longer it takes me to get back to sleep. Also I disconnect my ma...

Re: AirFit P10 headgear question,......

I finally received my Cpap.com order Monday the third. The long shipping time was due to USPS improperly routing the package, and not our host it appears. Regardless, my two masks finally made it here. Of course I simply put the Brevida away for later use when my current one wears out. Because of my...

Re: AirFit P10 headgear question,......

Well so much for USPS tracking. Still don't have my package, and all it says now is 'in transit to next facility.' At least it made it to Florida since it shows Jacksonville as of yesterday. I figure it will get here tomorrow or Tuesday, but I probably won't mess with it for real until next F...

Re: New no headgear nasal mask....Bleep/DreamPort...not a pillow and not a cushion

It just seems to me like having adhesive on your nose every night would result in clogged pores(pimples), and/or sores after a period of time. I'm assuming it's 'sticky' enough to not pull off easily. It will be interesting to hear what folks think of it after it gets into full production, and hits...

Re: AirFit P10 headgear question,......

Be careful and don't get it too tight. I made that mistake when I first used it. Got a sore nose (bruised feeling) out of the deal. The P10 pillow is a bit firmer than what you are using now...it's going to feel more stiff. If in doubt about a size...go up. Also a mistake I made...I first tried the...

"Some people have extremely oily skin too. Perhaps there are barbs on the "fork tines" to hold the mask in place. :?:"

Perfect, like a barbed plumbing fitting. That should work out fine,.....not!

Re: AirFit P10 headgear question,......

Well, according to tracking info, my P10 should be waiting for me when I get home this evening. Looking forward to trying it out Saturday night for the first time,....I think!
