Re: OT:Defective frog--oh, sh#%#???
Looks like I'll be getting another silver hat. It was positive. Very early. Nipple involved, the whole ta-ta goes. (Sniff) So sorry you have to go through this dear chunky, but the good news is that you caught it early, as did the love of my life, going on 5 years ago. As part of the procedure, she...

Re: Resmed data card, man made error.
Today was my yearly cpap check up. When I returned home I removed the data card to upload into sleepyhead. It had a problem but I was able to fix it with my backup file. When I put the bad card into my S9 autoset machine it gave me the no or yes choice. I was forced to pick yes. Which hurt. The one...

Re: OT:Defective frog ((update))
Well, I'm out of surgery, on the way home. A bit groggy, and a little beat up, but not much pain. No lifting for a few days, I can deal with that--"Honey, can you move this?" Should I milk it, or what? Wishing you the very best, with both of us having been in a position to relate, our warm thoughts...

Re: Ruby chin strap
I ordered my 3rd type of chin strap and again having trouble. The Ruby model seems to be a secure comfortable strap as opposed to single stranded belt types that simply slip off my head. My trouble was that upon waking I had a very sore throat that went away after a few hours. I am not sick with a ...

Re: Need Advice-AirFit F10 Leaks!
Hi Nate, I haven't followed the whole thread, so I apologize if this is redundant. I've been using the Quattro Air pretty successfully for a couple of months. It's kind of a cross between the AirFit 10 and the old Quattro. The mask part is like the Airfit, and the whole assembly is lighter with few...

Re: Need Advice-AirFit F10 Leaks!
Thought I'd post this here too for anyone struggling to get a leak-free fit with the AirFit F10: While awaiting the cavalry to arrive at my front door with the next steps towards a hoped-for solution for the Hybrid mask, I had another good night with the AirFit F10, which I credit to a resized Comfo...

Re: Love RespCare Hybrid but VPAP doesn't???
I'm back, I tried it, I got a Happy Face simply by holding my palm against the end of the hose. Let too much air escape, it turns to red angry, close it off, back to Happy! So much for electronics and algorithms! … Jay and palerider, Not to get too academic in a field in which I have no formal trai...

Re: Love RespCare Hybrid but VPAP doesn't???
Just heard back a few minutes ago from the InnoMed rep with whom I am dealing.
They are sending me a brand-new replacement Hybrid mask and arrangements for the one I purchased to be sent into them for testing and study and then further follow-up between us.
Regards, Nate

Re: Love RespCare Hybrid but VPAP doesn't???
Palerider, your comment seems to have appeared exactly at the same moment as mine just came in above yours, so I'm not sure whether you've had a chance to read/consider mine yet. My understanding is that InnoMed does not sell xPAP machines; just sleep apnea masks and possibly other accessories. If t...

Re: Love RespCare Hybrid but VPAP doesn't???
Since it is in my nature to be inclined to give the InnoMed rep the benefit of the doubt until I hear back further from him, hopefully tomorrow, there is another hypothesis. In an attempt at humor, I posed the Keurig II analogy, where the Keurig Green Mountain Coffee company deliberately set out to ...
