Like him or not, he's got tons of interviews with doctors and other as well as his own blog and a forum. There...

Avocados also are high in potassium and kind to diabetics and others watching blood glucose levels. In fact, there are lots of foods other than the starchy/sugary ones that are rich in potassium.

Re: Sad Death of Young Man by Untreated Sleep Apnea
He was probably sold a brick that didn't show his therapy and had a dme who couldn't care less. So true, so true. I've a friend who got her basic, no data CPAP at supplier X. She uses it every night and still falls asleep during the day. So glad I was advised to get a data capable machine before I ...

Re: What;s the worst tip you ever had from CPAPTalk?
"Yoo-hoo, archangel, where are you?" I can't believe we are 5 days into this thread and we haven't heard about the dire consequences of taping. Hmm, guess I will continue (happily) with my 2080el tape. Worst advice? Baking nasal pillows in the oven to get them back into shape Even worse, I baked al...

Re: What;s the worst tip you ever had from CPAPTalk?
Someone saying to tape your mouth shut. Seriously, that can't be a good idea. LOL, works for me and a bunch of other folks here. Good grief! That taping was one of the best tips I ever got. My sleep doctor was really pleased to see that my AHI events decreased nicely with the use of the tape. The o...

Yeah, someone pointed that out in a private message. It's just depressing.plr66 wrote:Actually, not. There are zero items listed.gasparama wrote:LSAT made a good point. I just followed the link and the site seems to be perfectly normal.LSAT wrote:http://cpapauction.com/

This is interesting, but I don't think it would be beneficial for me.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane. As a kid, I watched that until I could mouth the whole passage myself. Very funny.

Re: How Long Can We Live?
Kind of related to this, there was a news article in the last couple of days that was kind of unusual. It said that the first person who will live to age 150 was (statistically speaking) born recently. So ... they can get a new machine every 5 years. That's going to drive the insurance companies nu...

Re: POLL: How long do you think you had SA before you 'knew'?
I could never remember any part of any vacation because I fell asleep in the car before we ever passed the nearest 7-11. A car ride meant sleep for me, even if I was driving. Now,I know for sure that there are mountains in Colorado. Up until CPAP, Colorado was just a rumor.

I'm sorry that you are having to go through this very difficult transition in your life. Sometimes, the death of a beloved pet just takes away you ability to breathe-CPAP or no CPAP.

Re: OT: hearing aids
The company that I used is quite busy and popular, but there is no ENT on staff. My ears are normal, so perhaps, I'll get all the care needed from this place. That being said, seeing and ENT first would have been a wise move!
