Air Sense 10 vs S9
Hi everyone! Haven't been on here much at all for a couple of years. I see a lot of old members and quite a few new ones! My S9 crapped up my SD card which I figured out only because the AHI and leak numbers on the LCD screen hadn't changed for a couple of days. Don't know yet if it was just a card ...

Re: Sleeping with a partner who wears CPAP
Lots of people on this forum have gotten advice to help partners benefit from the cpap treatment rather than suffer from it. A lot of times, the response is based on the attitude of the questions. And because personal interaction, i.e., body language, is absent in written exchanges very often the w...

Re: Sleeping with a partner who wears CPAP
This is why I said smug...not one word was uttered about not using the CPAP, about it not being the healthy thing to do, about it not saving lives...NOT ONE WORD! The adjustment was simply asked about. And there is an adjustment for both parties. And there is nothing wrong with learning how to adap...

Re: Especially for newly diagnosed - Dealing with Change
The positive attitudes that are being shared are absolutely great. A positive attitude makes everything easier, not necessarily easy, but easier to handle. Keep it up!

Re: Zero-Zero Night
I forgot to mention that I have had several zero leak nights, and several zero AHI nights, during the past 4 1/2 years, but this is the first, and so far only, time that both were zero the same night!

Zero-Zero Night
Well, it finally happened. After 4 1/2 years of CPAP use I had a zero AHI, zero Leak, night on Apr 27 while I was on a trip from Idaho to Missouri, sleeping in my tent trailer. I know this isn't an earth shattering achievement, but still it does feel good to have finally had such a night! And as you...

Re: OT - Statins and You
Just remember, as I've said before. Every person in the food and medical industry who is knowledgeable about diet and nutrition shares a common characteristic with every teacher of every religion in the world - there ain't a single one of them who has a lock on the truth!

I'm sure English Common Law is the basis for Canadian law as well as US law, so undoubtedly there are provisions available to get a judge to declare your father incompetent to handle his own financial affairs and appoint someone, probably you, as a financial guardian. How difficult, long, and costly...

Re: Left SD card out of cpap last night
I dislike the numbers on the machine because sometimes I have to get up in the middle of the night and the numbers on my machine only show the numbers for the last use. For example if I have 5 hours of use, get up to deal with something and after I get back to bed I have 2 hours of use my machine o...

Re: 1 Hr gap in ResScan graphs, but not SleepyHead
We assume they are producing programming and its data for the doctors, but in my experience that is a non-existing target. I've been to three pulmonologists who claim to treat OSA patients. Not one of them looked at, much less understood, the ResScan and SleepyHead graphs I presented. That is three...

Re: OT DayLight Savings Time
I remember being in London 10+ years ago around the end of June, and it was still light at 10-10:30PM...not bright daylight, but still light. Made a big impression on me. Of course, the winter daylight is shorter to go along with that, so I only go to London in the late spring, summer, and early fa...

Here's what Mark Twain had to say about sunsets and sunrises. This is quoted on a sign at the Mark Twain Overlook in Muscatine, Iowa. And I remember Muscatine—still more pleasantly—for its summer sunsets. I have never seen any, on either side of the ocean, that equaled them. ... The sunrises are als...
