Ah. I did visit there but at first blush I didn't see a listing for the machine I think I have. I will check my work.

REMstar Auto A-Flex Clinical Manual

This newbie's searches on the Internet and on this board for the manual described above, have not borne fruit. I do not know if I have described the unit adequately. This is the name on the user manual. It has a System One humidifier attached to it. If someone could direct me to a source for the man...

I don't know why he asked for an attorney. Maybe he was trying to get someone to help him get equipment that is not being provided to him. Who knows.<snip> Failure to provide medical care to the incarcerated is considered a violation of the Constitutional prohibition against cruel and unusual punis...

Re: Looking for Mr. Goodsleep--Newbie Seeks Knowledge

Do you have a copy of your sleep study yet? If so, does it mention a lot of events in supine position and not so many events on your side. Maybe you are one of those people that has many more events on your back. Would sure explain the number of snores on the previous night's report when there were...

The bill for my sleep study less than one month ago was about $3,000 before insurance (teaching hospital in major metropolitan area if it matters). YMMV.

Here's last night. Looks better but I feel worse. Tried to sleep on my side.

Re: Looking for Mr. Goodsleep--Newbie Seeks Knowledge

Hawthorne, I am probably confused about the name of my device. The report printout says it is a REMstar Auto.

Pugsy, no hose huggy, hose just goes over the side of the bed.

I do not feel drowsy while driving anymore but I still feel tired. My next appointment with the sleep doc is 3/10.

1. Re: Sleep Study. I have requested a copy of it from the medrecs department of the hospital where I took it. I am told it will take a week. Oh, well. 2. Re: Snoring. Bed partner reports that I stopped snoring when I lost some weight at the beginning of the year, and says I don't snore with the mas...

Hmm. I was assuming that a vendor wouldn't sell a "civilian" the pro version of Encore (although it looks like the default setting to wipe the smart card of data after reading can easily be changed).

Looking for Mr. Goodsleep--Newbie Seeks Knowledge

I was unofficially diagnosed with OSA two hours into my sleep study on 2/8/2011 when they slapped a mask on me after only two hours of observation (a familiar experience to many of those here). I do not have my dictated report from the sleep doc yet. My followup appointment is 3/10. They told me my ...
