Re: No respiratory events but still lousy sleep
I got to the cottonballs then I lost it, went first to shout on my other post. Wouldnt a zeo or maybe a Oximeter register awakenings? also with a 90 minute sleep cyle wouldnt it be plausable that some people would wake to a fashion when the cyle restarts. Also, isnt it worth looking at other things ...

"ARE YOU MAD"!!!!
The one thing I find amazing is that with all the tired people on here you only get a sharp remark now and again. You would think that there would be many more rude words being thrown around. "..and how are you today?" ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH You have to laugh because you would soon run out of ...

Re: Need suggestions to adjust to cpap treatment
Alot of people when they first start sleep for a wee while then wake and some remove the mask without even knowing. I myself couldnt relax as I was always listning to the machine and just could let myself fall asleep. The way to solve this is very easy. what you need is a mp3/IPOD and download what ...

Re: BBC NEWS: The myth of the eight-hour sleep
Can I have 4, 2 hour sleeps instead. Does anyone sleep to order? I get nowhere near 8 hours sleep and I can tell you this that by Tea time I will be nodding in my chair at some point, question is, is it OSA or old age or lack of 8 hours sleep? My oximeter readings stated no events last night and 5 h...

Re: BBC NEWS: The myth of the eight-hour sleep
Thats all well and good but in the 21st century we dont get 8 hours sleep and if you do then your very lucky. When Im working, I get around 4 hours a day, as I care for my partner and then do a 9 hour nightshift. I dont have time to sleep. A lot of people in this day and age run on a 24 hour clock a...

Re: Help with my husbands apap
I dont want to sound stupid here and probably because Im not sure how things work over the water but is it not easier to just contact your sleep center and ask them if you can pop in or is this not possible in the states? Over here one phone call and you can go to the clinic to see the docs and slee...
