"brian washed" ?" Cult? " don't you think that's a bit much now?
Please feel free to buy two, some washers don't have a small load cycle or a delicate cycle! Jim

Re: How do you use your Neilmed?

I'd ask my doctor, instead of counting of replies from people that haven't been here in a decade or two. (One of the hazzards of playing in the dead zone). I'd think real hard before I'd let any knife happy doctor, do anything that would stop me from using XPAP, even for a few days. Jim

Re: Filter change interval

Hanging on a line and beating the rug would save me a lot of money, but the wife won't buy into it. If she beats the rug, she is too tired to beat me. She has killed 5 sweepers in four years, she lives to sweep. Jim

Re: Resmed accused of patent breach

Looks like these patents expire in 2023 & 24. They should be able to kick it around in court long enough for them to expire. Kicking it around in court for a few years, until the patents expire, wouldn't prevent compensation for all the units sold during infringement (six years prior to fili...

Re: Filter change interval

Do all air compressors have an oil removal device? I would hate to blow a gob of oil into a filter. Besides the can is quiet and very portable. Some compressors are oil less, but most good ones have pressure regulators on them. They also have a safety valve to protect the tank from over pressure. I...

Re: Filter change interval

We have used canned air to flush out the window AC filter. Probably gentler than a compressor. Canned air should be ok, also most air compressors have a pressure regulator to control the pressure. My old Tank XPAPs, use washable foam and the white inner filter, I keep a supply of both. All 3 are ov...

Re: Filter change interval

I have washed the ResMed Standard filter just to see what happened. It survived just fine. So it can be done in a pinch. Yes, but it's not a good idea. Many filters washing changes the characteristics of the filter, ( air flow and size of particles removed). Gently blowing it out, with compressed a...

Re: Filter change interval

Old, dusty house--3 weeks and my anti allergy filters are ready to quit. The way filters work. the dirtier they get the better they filter, (take out smaller ) the particles. Problem comes from reduced flow, and or in the case of XPAP, flow and or pressure to the mask, cooling of the XPAP and signa...

Re: Different mask, different AHI?

Any change you make can affect your AHI, it will change from hundreds of things, it will change if you do nothing different. The object it to get it under 5, ( 2 is better). Worrying about everything doesn't make anything easier. Jim

If you are thinking of getting a nightmarestation 2, forget about Oscar. The SOB's at respironics are scrambling the data, to prevent consumer viewing. Then I would suggest scrambling any check I would consider sending to pay for their products, except I wouldn't consider buying from them for their...
