Re: ResMed new FFM the F30 available for pre order at cpap.com

While I'm pretty persnickety about mask fitment I've held high hopes for this particular mask since first seeing it mentioned here from the pad-a-cheek lady. Can't believe its been released thru CPAP.com before any further news releases available online as I've searched daily. Ordered two mediums im...

Re: Dreamwear ffm users- back to F20FFM

I too resemble this sentiment and in spite of nightly pre bed face washings, brisk rubs with a not too-soft terry facecloth and once-a-week nasal hair trimming my nose exterior still tickles w/the F20. And I know the difference between a dust bunny or lint hair feeling "in" or "on" my nose. Admitted...

Re: Toshiba SD Card WIFI signal strength?

I appreciate the research & feedback as I too am curious about this rather than physically swapping from XPAP-to-computer. 12 ft "thru-the-wall" or 18 ft around it. Yeah, Yeah I know 15 footsteps one-way or 30 R/T footsteps is ... pure laziness/sloth. So sue me, I remain curious!

Re: New Mask from ResMed

I run sans supplemental/aftermarket cushions so unless this setup for me creates some as yet unforeseen need I'll be running it identically to my current masks....ie; right outta the box. I'm doubtful the cushion from the F30 could be adapted or fit to the F20 due to strap/headgear arrangement. Addi...

Re: New Mask from ResMed

Since I currently alternate nightly between the DW & AF F20 FFM its a safe bet I'll purchase one or two the instant our forum sponsor lists/advertises them.

I've always thought life should be two periods of naps interrupted by 40-50 years of work & OSA.

Re: 3rd night w/ AirCurve 10 VAuto-from-AirSense 10...

Hey, I resemble that remark! Sleep quality is impeccable and I'm feeling incredibly good! Haven't had a nap in several days in spite of not missing one for months and months. Ok, did try yesterday but laid down, strapped it on and eyes flew wide open and I realized there's no chance I could fall asl...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset vs Aircurve 10 VAUTO

Having completed my 5th night with the Air Curve VAuto last night I can say least for me it's a dramatic difference in how it feels even if I ignore its documented benefits. Its one of the first things I noticed/felt after strapping in on night 1. It felt immediately kinder/gentler the very first ni...

5th night (odd # nights are DWFFM/even # nights F20FFM): Aced it again last night... 8.3 hours uninterrupted sleep. MyAir score 100/ALL zeros (no events/no leaks)!

Re: Mask Liner Frustration!

I've never bought or made a mask liner as any hedge against leaks. For me it's always been and continues to be"feel" and nothing more... hate the greased eel squishiness of it all. Silicone, latex, plastic or any other squeaky synthetic against my skin. Even when diving I've always used a goggle lin...

Thanks Pugsy! I'd previously read of your positive experiences and am happy you chose to drop in and participate. I can easily understand some parts of all this while still struggling to grok others. When strapping the mask on at night and settling in I have this profound feeling of enhanced refinem...

Re: 3rd night w/ AirCurve 10 VAuto-from-AirSense 10...

4th night and at the risk of redundancy I'm compelled to add another 1st with the AirCurve 10. In addition to enjoying my first 100% leak-free night since beginning therapy 7 months ago on Feb 8. I have subsequently had 3 more nights 100% leak-free sleep. Only leakage since installing AC 10 was @ 3 ...

Re: If I'm gonna be a dog why intentionally choose Chihuahua!?!

Ti's a wonderful material and far easier to machine and work with than people would have you believe... although still 40% heavier than aluminum. One thing I've wondered since day one is why these machines don't use a well-designed velocity stack with integral filtered inlet. I noticed pics you post...

Re: If I'm gonna be a dog why intentionally choose Chihuahua!?!

Trust me, I would if I could but good as CF is it struggles with sharp bends and cutting with glued slip-joint bends is painstakingly slow. Besides, my bed won't be weight-taxed until upwards of 400-500lbs and even with steel I don't think it'll see 10lbs even with a 'loaded' 10+ station mask carous...

Re: If I'm gonna be a dog why intentionally choose Chihuahua!?!

small diameter mandrel benders for the IMSA/Camel Lights/Spice/F1 & Indy car 'hard' brake lines. Large for exhaust systems on closed wheel road racing and SCCA National cars. I want this to be challenging but not stupid-spendy. Basically I just want to PLAY again!
