Re: DME & Dr ordered (?) overnight pulse ox
After reading this thread, I've decided not to trust my DME... and will consult with my doctor on everything! Can't say I've had a great experience with the DME anyway. They gave me the machine that my doctor ordered (I think), and did just enough so that I wouldn't complain about them to my doctor.

Re: Device you get from Dentist
Thanks for all your responses. Appreciated the link, Mike. I thought the dental device was used in place of CPAP... obviously I was wrong. Think I'll stick with my mask and continue trying to get comfortable with it. I doubt I need both, since the sleep center seems to think I'm doing okay. I have a...

Thousands of dollars??? That's plain crazy. It's just a tiny, little thing... so I've heard anyway.

Device you get from Dentist
Have any of you heard of this? If so, what are your thoughts?
I've heard it's MUCH easier to use. A friend told me about it... said it's much easier to deal with... just lowers your jaw a bit so that air gets in, or something like that. I have SOSA.
Thanks

Re: New to CPAP/Question
I will check it out before I go to sleep tonight. I guess it could have been a leak. Also wondering if maybe I had an "apnea" moment??

Re: New to CPAP/Question
Thanks to all of you for taking the time to reply. I guess I'm going to have to learn the basics - like it or not. I'm so not computer literate... took me several weeks to register correctly here. My machine is the ResMed S9 Elite with climate control humidi ... heard it was a good machine, tho I wo...

New to CPAP/Question
Many of you seem to be so knowledgeable - seems no need for a sleep tech or a doctor. My ResMed H5i was set up for me after my sleep study and I started using it about three weeks ago. If I had not read so much here, I would have never thought about what all the numbers meant -- leaving that up to m...
