Re: Waking up after 5 hours, possible pressure issue

Welcome! Your graphs show about 25% of your time you were in large leak. That may account for the dry mouth. Check out the link in my signature for information about posting to this forum. If you could, please put your machine and mask in your profile information. That will help us help you. What ma...

Re: New, Severe, Really Concerned

... Instead of moving or adjusting or waking up while I felt myself start to "fall asleep" but lose O2, last night I fought through it. Made my AHI go up a ton with Central Apneas. But I got more hours of "Sleep". I don't know if its better to let me O2 drop to get sleep or stop and adjust to try t...

Re: New, Severe, Really Concerned

... So I have no idea. I feel like my choice is suffocate for a moment and go to sleep, or voluntary breath and wake up. I know it sounds dumb, and the OSCAR data doesn't necessarily show it. But that feeling hasn't changed in 17 days. With or without the CPAP machine. Just to get a clear picture: ...

Re: OT: GERD, Famotidine and loose stools...

Been dealing with loose stools for years. I now take a shake in the morning that has me completely solid every day. 1 scoop of seed fiber from garden of eden, 2 tablespoons of chocolate "nibs" (not the sweet chocolates but basically cracked chocolate beans), 1 table spoon non-alkalized chocolate po...

Refresh my memory... Are you using a recording oximeter? Can you just record the night? It may help clarify things.

Re: CPAP - Low AHI, still cannot sleep. Trouble determining beneficial pressure

I have an overbite. lol I know that sometimes has to do with poor sleep and snoring, does that provide anything new to the discussion or same conclusion? ... It looks like you're beginning sleeping at different times. On the 12th, you started at 3am and ended at 7am. On the 13th, you started at 7 a...

So far my "Sleep doctors" have said my experience isnt typical. But screwed right now with Covid - can't get a sleep lab.
I hope you can get a new sleep lab soon, or at least talk with a sleep doc.

Re: New, Severe, Really Concerned

Not a perfect night. But Powered through the apneas or whatever is happening immediately upon falling asleep. I could fell and know the postions where my O2 levels drop etc but instead of rolling over, I just forced through it. That must be why the pressure raised so high. So far the higher the pre...

Re: CPAP - Low AHI, still cannot sleep. Trouble determining beneficial pressure

Hello, everyone I have an update. These are some images that represent my sleep struggles. Hopefully I can receive some insight using these images. It looks like your apnea is being well-managed via cpap. So this is one part of your equation that you've mostly figured out. That's great! Why not con...

Re: My introduction

... Any feedback or suggestions are always greatly appreciated. Making progress! Keep working on the large leak. Once that's solved, it usually helps eliminate the dry mouth thing. With this mask, the only leakage should be coming weakly from around the swivel joint at the mask elbow. During some o...

Several times while using the nose pillow, I have been knashing my teeth and are very sore waking up. Any suggestions?
What Miss Emerita said.
Also, if you're physically grinding your teeth, you might try a bite plate.

Re: Cpap headgear

Should the cpap headgear go all the way to the back of your neck or just the back of your head. I'm trying to see if I'm putting my mask on right I'm dealing with discomfort a little bit You may find it's different for you than in any instructional video. This has been the case for me anyway.
