Re: Newbie report on Encore software findings
Night #11, I won't post the graph this time. Lots of leaks but then that was no surprise but I did log 9 hours on the machine with 1 bathroom break and total AHI 3.9 (again mostly AI which seems normal for me). If I look at the first half of the night before I took the blue painter's tape off (cough...

Re: Quattro and ComfortGel Nasal Test Drives....
Ahh, so sorry, it says the Comfort Gel Nasal would not be suited for me. Didn't even tell me a size that might work.

Re: Quattro and ComfortGel Nasal Test Drives....
Wish I could take you up on your offer but they will be too large for me. I would love to try the comfort gel but I fear too big. I will go measure myself just in case though.

Re: Newbie report on Encore software findings
Last nights results. No bathroom break in middle of the night. I did have some awakenings for whatever reason, couple were mouth leaks, but none where I felt I was so awake I needed to get up. I did take 2 Ultram before I went to bed. In the past I either clean house all night or it helps me sleep. ...

Re: OA score on encore viewer report
AHI results indicating treated OSA. It is a treatment, not a cure. If you had a sleep study without it the results would point back to whatever it was like before treatment began.

Re: Resetting Data on the Remstar M Series
I noticed when I reset to zero that the next morning I had zero showing for an hour or more, then when I checked back later the data would be there. It didn't seem to update or respond as quickly when I had set to zero, but it did eventually show up.

Re: Newbie report on Encore software findings
You still need a higher minimum pressure.....like "10". The night before last, you had snores to drive up the pressure, which also (probably) took care of (preempted) many of the events......consequently you had a lower AHI. Last night you didn't have much to drive up the pressure and your AHI was ...

Re: Newbie report on Encore software findings
Thanks Ozij,
I will do as you suggest and give it a couple of weeks. I can certainly live with the way I feel now.

Re: Newbie report on Encore software findings
Report on last night's changes: I added Polygrip to my routine since the homemade chin strap was less than ideal. Oops, didn't know how much to use and I used way too much. Very effective and not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Went to bed around 10:30PM, woke up shortly after 2 AM, wide awa...

Re: Resetting Data on the Remstar M Series
Hi Jeff, I copied this below from another thread I found. I will assume that you recognize this gets you into the Clinician's menu and you know to be careful with what you mess with in there. Were you wanting to erase data on the Smart card? This doesn't do that though I think there is some sort of ...

Re: A Night Without Sleep
Well I just had to go look and see just how the prices were.
The mask I use.
CPAP.com price $108
the sneaky spammer price $159
The machine and humidifier I use
CPAP.com price $669
sneaky spammer price $1,019
Needless to say, I won't go back.

What are the steps to erase the stats back to zero? I have the M series also and would like to know how to do that! Thanks. Hi Jeff, I copied this below from another thread I found. Re: Newbie report on Encore software findings
Thank you Wulfman and Ozij for your thoughts. I do appreciate your input. I will set auto to max and see what happens. I looked back at my other data (that I didn't post) and I see a couple of OA clusters where there were no snores to drive the pressure up. For the past couple of months since I star...

Re: New User--help/question
I also am new and using the Swift LT for Her pillows. If you haven't tried seating them without being attached to the machine, give it a go. I found it was much easier to adjust the pillows so that I could inhale and exhale easily if I wasn't hooked up to the machine. Trying to adjust with air flowi...
