Re: Why does heated tubing only come in 6+ ft lengths?

A hose hanger picks up the excess into a loop--up and out of the way.
A good rig will allow you to move around and roll over in bed.

Re: Shingles Vaccine and mask sensitivity

Robin only posted once. Back in November, 2023.
Chances are the sensitivity is long gone.
At least she was not trying to plug noclean . . .
I hate people who do that.

Going off CPAP while sick is foolish.
I do not have a death wish.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10- EXTRA Large Water Tank

The tank is designed to hold enough water for 8 hours,
unless your house is really dry--or your mouth hangs open for hours.

Re: Clearing nasal passage - Tips please.

It is fairly normal for one nostril to be stuffier than the other, and that switching sides is part of the usual function. We can safely deal with this natural cycle with mild products, if anything at all. Afrin (oxymetazoline) should be reserved only for extreme congestion-- (both nostrils, complet...

If no doctor has yet seen the new bump on your nose,
PLEASE make an appointment!
Not that it is anything bad, but if it is--the sooner, the better!
I have had cancer twice--both identified and treated soon enough for cures.
Time does not heal some things. Knowlege is way better.

Re: Nasal Pillow Masks (Nasal tube)

I always sleep better with my good ear buried in the pillow. I can still hear the train whistles--but the engines are muffled. However, my cpap is almost silent. So, it depends on your hearing and sensitivity to noise. Some folks will always need extraordinary means to attain peace. Good luck gettin...

It would be better if DeVillbiss had not backed away from respiratory products.

Tergazyme?
Yeah, I am also baffled.
It's best to stick with products recommended by
the manufacturer or by members of this forum.
I would put tergazyme on the short list of things to blame.

Yes, it was locked.
I believe it is because many people are not aware of how incredibly hard local water can get,
and yet be completely safe to drink--even healthy, because, minerals.
Minerals which gunk up your cpap tank, water system, and your steam iron.

Re: Failed sleep study after 14 years on the hose

My original sleep studies were early in 2010, grandfathered in, because the clinic is not a Medicare provider. No mention has been made of another sleep study; and I am not foolish enough to bring it up myself. All my providers are aware that I KNOW what Medicare requires--or not. --or they will be ...
