In order to keep from getting too many air leaks both from my high pressure setting and tossing and turning, ...

I tried the forma, and did not like it at all. Called F&P to verify that they were no longer making the 431. F&P said no, they were still manufacturing ...

... I also don't think it's a coincidence that most of the masks and respirators used for protection go under the chin. I tried the F & P Forma but although comfortable my chin kept slipping under the bottom of the mask..

... the mask against your face you lose the cushion of air built into it. Not sure about it being too tight, but I have used several FFM's, F & P Forma, 431, 432, several RM Quattro's never had a problem with any FFM. No, I have not tried the Amara View, yet. Been having a large leak situation ...

... nasal, S, M, MW. That one made my upper lip and nose very sore the next morning. I’ve always had good luck with any full face masks. I’ve had the Forma M, L, F&P 431, 432, M, L, Mirage Quarto, among others. Yes, I’m willing to try a nasal mask, as long as it does not have anything that has to ...

... am confused by the doctor's response. I know NightOwl uses an AI to automate and pre-evaluate the results. Maybe this doctor just accepted the pro forma result from the AI without actually spending any time to see if he could do better. Or maybe this is just the level of care you get with a home ...

Re: Help with Pressure Settings for New APAP User
... I also have a pretty high pressure (19) and the bipap with a lower exhalation pressure of 14 helped tremendously. I also suggested trying a F&P forma mask, as it helped a lot being at a high pressure. I gave lots of useful suggestions, in addition to the suggestion to find a good doctor. I did ...

Re: Help with Pressure Settings for New APAP User
If I remember right, my inbound pressure is like 19. Very high. I have to use a F&P Forma full face mask, because it has a chin cup that helps a bit with leaking. I also have to fit it fairly tight. It's a balancing act trying to cinch it down as much as possible ...

... large f20 under my chin, but it's not perfect, which is why I'm curious about larger brands or styles. It's definitely not perfect, but then the Forma, which hasn't been updated in who-knows-how-many-years also isn't perfect.

Re: Full face mask question - Forma vs Vitera
Thanks! Does the Vitera get pushed off with shifting overnight? That's probably my other concern with going with a mask that doesn't go over the chin, because I definitely move around a lot in my sleep, but I don't know if that's unfounded.

Re: Full face mask question - Forma vs Vitera
I have never worn the Forma, but I have used the Quattro, F20, and Simplus. The Vitera is the most comfortable and works best when it is loose on the chin.

Full face mask question - Forma vs Vitera
My local supplier has been moving away from stocking the Forma and moving toward the Vitera, and I was wondering if anyone happened to have tried both masks and would have an opinion on them? I tried the Vitera for a week, but I think after a decade ...
