I wish that there was some sort of magical setting available on the cpap machine to help us solve sleep quality problems but there just isn't. Sometimes we just have problems that the machine wasn't designed to fix. Trust me...if it were there then I would ...

Given occasional OAs and some flow limitation on nights without OAs, is it worth trying a higher ... If you remember a dream that means you woke up during it. Is this evidence that I have treatment-emergent central apneas? No...you don't have a problem with treatment emergent ...

So unless you can think of a better reason, IMO unnecessarily high pressures are wrecking your sleep.

In re: "gasping", it may simply be dream content is causing increased respiratory rate and depth, and that pattern persists for a bit post-awakening.

Looks like they (one anyway) are occurring @termination of REM period. Pen & paper @bedside and IMMEDIATELY write down what you were dreaming about @wakeup. Dream recollection is fleeting so you got about 2 seconds to do that.

My go to's are usually the Dream Wear, P10 or F&P Nova with a AC VAuto @ 9.2 Epap / 16 Ipap / 4.2 PS.
With these nasal masks, what are you doing about mouth-breathing? Maybe taping?
