I think you should seriously consider spending just a bit more and go apap. If I recall, from some of your other posts, you have a relatively high recommended pressure setting and have been struggling with mask leaks. The higher the pressure the more trouble you are going to have maintaining a good ...

Sleepy-eyes I also have a full-face beard. As you can see I keep it fairly short, and trimmed around the lips. I have gotten to where I use just one strip of the 1 inch 3M Durapore right across my lips and that seems to work most of the time. I purse my lips together and rub it firmly onto my lips a...

Melissa - are you taping or doing something about mouth breathing? When I am deep asleep I mouth breath, and if I don't tape I wake up with a headache. If I don't tape I will get the headache even from a short nap, but it is much worse from a full nights sleep. There is no therapy if you are mouth b...

Melissa - Maybe I missed this but I would be interested in knowing how much water from the humidifier tank you go through on a setting of 1. If your lowest setting of 1 is somehow faulty and running to high, and each following setting is based off of the lowest setting of 1, then rainout may very we...

James - sounds like me, your too kind and polite to these creeps, and if you don't get in their face you will be the one that suffers the consequences. Back when I was young and wild I suffered a compound fracture of my left femur. My bone dr. decided he would save the hospital some money by not ord...

Personally I don't believe I will ever need another sleep study. I get more feedback from my auto w/software than I got from my sleep study. With it my pressure is always being reevaluated. I have found that my 90% seems to change quite a bit, although I believe the long run average would still be a...

I've been trying to decide on a full face mask and have been keeping an eye on this one. I haven't seen any posts regarding compatability with beards and mustaches. Any hairy faced ones out there have any experience with this mask? --- BT

[quote="Anonymous"]I don't think any CPAP'er should be attacked for posting their opinions. But when some one identifies themself as a DME specialist, The opinions go to the next level and they open themselves to attack, just as a manufacturer opens themselves to attack by producing the machine, or ...

BT - How the heck do you tape with your whiskers? Have you shaved them off? - r My apologies to all - I did veer a bit off track there. DreamStalker, I PM'd you with an answer to your taping question. And just for the record, the whiskers have been with me for 30+ years and will be buried with me -...

My experiences have been the same as bdp522 (Brenda). I was doing the same thing as you Melissa and most of the time would wake up with a headache or feeling like I had lost sleep. I try not to do it anymore. Like others have mentioned, it turns out that it's just not worth it. My problem now is tha...

I'm just a fellow cpap user who posted an opinion that very obviously came out way wrong and my attempt to cl...
