Re: SoClean2

Why on earth would anyone use one if they despise them? Just to try it out so they could say they are a smart fellow and not a phart smeller?

Re: AirCurve10 humidifier tank air leaks

I have the AirCurve10 VAuto Bipap also since January of this year. I've not had any problems with the water chamber leaking. Mostly leaks with the mask and mouth leaks. I use a chin strap and that seems to have taken care of leaks. On my air I get mostly 100%. Less is for going to the bathroom or wh...

Re: Heated Hose Cleaning

I've used a brush on a standard hose. I now have the Air Curve 10 Auto Bipap and the heated hose. The book that came with the hose says the air blows at a low rate after stopping therapy to blow out any remaining moisture. Mine does blow after removing at a low volume. Therefore it is selfcleaning a...

Re: Full Face Mask

I suppose I can live with the chin strap and mask but was looking for all and the best option for me. I need to at least try the full face. My nostrils are more slotted than round and they suggest people with more round nostrils do best with nasal pillows. I have a couple of nasal pillow masks but a...

Re: Full Face Mask

Thanks for the info. I would consider tape but I have a full beard, short but still full and moustache. If possible to just tape lips maybe. This Quattro Pro nasal I have comes down over the lips anyway and doesn't require much to keep mouth shut. However my nose does look like Rudolph and I don't k...

Full Face Mask

I've been using nasal masks for the past 10 years. With this Air Curve S10 Auto Bipap and online MyAir I have leakage. I got a chin strap which has stopped the mouth breathing but that's a lot of straps on the head at night. Thought I would try a full face. Any recommendations? The DME suggested a n...

Re: Daily Pill? No Thanks, I'll Take Early Death

I've been taking 1 pill a day for the last year and a half which is about $116 each after Medicare insurance for Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) . I've found that on many drugs the Medicare Part D coverage is a joke and you can purchase the medication for less without insurance. Digoxin is...

Re: SoClean 2 - CPAP Cleaner and Sanitizer

Thanks Krelvin. That's a good deduction and answer. I had already decided against the cleaner several posts back, probably your first. There are however some folks here that would argue with a telephone pole trying to prove themselves right. At least they stick together and another member explained ...

Re: SoClean 2 - CPAP Cleaner and Sanitizer

No, sorry. I guess with all your vast knowledge you still do not know the difference in a sewer cleaner and a garbage man. Research UV lighting and you will see that they lose effectiveness over a period of time by simply being on. The UV rays diminish and in the case of a whole house HVAC system th...

Re: SoClean 2 - CPAP Cleaner and Sanitizer

The air goes ONE WAY...It does NOT go back through the hose into the machine and humidifier. The germs are yours. If it makes you feel better by cleaning and disinfecting...go for it, but, I agree that it is not necessary. Then in your opinion they are falsely advertising. According to their schema...

Re: SoClean 2 - CPAP Cleaner and Sanitizer

I was ready to post I DO NOT carry on a conversation with someone who has no clue. However parts of your statement is factual and make sense. I also see your ability to copy and paste as you so rudely applied to me previously. Read or look up whatever you wish (on utube? You consider that intelligen...

Re: SoClean 2 - CPAP Cleaner and Sanitizer

Yours has never surprised me. It has always been there along with your desire to be argumentative on the forum. How long now has it been since you sold your encyclopedia? I thought for a second the earlier statement you made was an intelligent statement. However, I must have made a fatal error.
