Re: DreamWear with arms like glasses
Based on 90 days experience with this new headset early 2019, I ordered 2 of them on ebay a few days ago. They were delivered yesterday and I slept with one of them last night. Great item and no slip. I still wish that Respironics would have allowed me to keep the "trial mask" as they called it, but...

Re: DreamWear with arms like glasses
I participated in the field trial for this item in early 2019 and used it for 90 days. It works great and does not slip up to the top of your head like the original. One night I moved wrong or something and the hose and the top of the frame moved forward over my eyes, but the cushion never left my n...

Re: Stinky Issue with Dreamstation/Heated Hose
Sounds like the plastic smell you would get when the humidifier tank runs dry, but you said there was still water in it . It had water in it this morning, but not a lot. What is interesting is that I used this heated hose last winter and I'm sure I ran out of water at night at least once, but never...

Stinky Issue with Dreamstation/Heated Hose
I switched back to my heated hose a few days ago from the non-heated one I use during the summer. This is the same heated hose I used last winter and it has been resting in a drawer all summer. I cleaned it out with soapy water and rinsed it well before putting it back in service. I have my humidity...

Re: 2 nights without electricity (so far)
I live in Alabama and we aren't immune from power issues either. A drunk driver took out a power pole south of me about 3 hours ago and knocked out power to the southern half of the town I live in. The utility company is on the scene, but no power yet. When it first happened at 3:00am my apap went o...

Re: DreamWear nasal mask causing irritation
Keep it as loose as possible, just enough to stop leaks, keep the area clean and moist during the day and stick it out. It will get better in a few days. I hardly noticed this issue after about a week. According to your profile, you are not using the same mask as kf13 I guess I read it wrong. Sorry...

Re: William Shatner the new face of "NoClean" just saw another commercial... sigh.
Clean? What does that word mean? To me clean means no dirt or other contaminant such as food particles, dust, fingerprints (we all know we wash our hands before handling our mask), or just touching our face. I'm not talking about bacteria, I'm talking about just plane "dirt" that we all live with on...

Re: Bed Pillows and CPAP
I use the MyPillow as seen on tv. If it doesn't work for your husband you can return it. I have had mine for a little over 4 years and the last 1.5 years with my cpap and it works great.

I just don't want an ozone generator indoors period regardless of what the manufacturer claims.
Maybe I'll just go wash my mask. I think I forgot this month.

0.2 last night and 0.8 the night before. Still under 1.0, but that 0.0 is rare. Maybe tonight?

AHI = 0.0
I just had my second nightly 0.0 AHI. My numbers are less than 1.0 95% of the time, but zero has only happened twice since I have been using my CPAP starting 17 months ago.

Re: Proved yet again there're no cpap police
The whole system is a joke. You got excellent results. Why complain about "the system"? Do you want an expensive doctor wasting time chatting with you? I'm not complaining. I just thankful I got into the "system" with minimal roadblocks along the way. The road for me was very easy other than having...

Re: Proved yet again there're no cpap police
My regular ENT referred me to have a sleep study in early 2018. I did and was prescribed a CPAP which I picked up at a DME. I never ever saw the sleep study doctor - EVER! I don't even know his/her name. But my CPAP experience has and is excellent with AHI's at 1.0 or below virtually every night. I ...
