Re: minor snoring
This is my only wife. She’s full data, but a very good wife. I can’t afford another one. Haven’t got this one paid off yet.

Re: minor snoring
I might have a new idea. from what my wife was describing I may have been mouth breathing for a bit. I quit wearing my chin strap a few days ago as I didn't think I needed it. its kind of a pain. I wore it again last night and my wife heard no snoring. go figure. I wear it again for a while and see ...

Re: minor snoring
I am going to assume that I rolled all the way on my side and the mask seal broke from my face a bit. I am going to have my full data wife wake me up next time so I can see if that's the issue. its odd that when I first got my cpap I slept on my back, but now that I am sleeping so well I am rolling ...

Re: minor snoring
wife said it was in the middle of the night, and that I was kind of on my side, and that she thinks she heard more air like the machine was ramping up. I am wondering if the mask was pulled away from seal.

Re: minor snoring
my machine doesn't produce advanced data. and since its just a cpap and not an auto I only have two pressures. my sleep study recommended an RX of 9. the start was set to 5 and I upped it to 6.

minor snoring
My wife says I have had a couple sessions where I am snoring, not badly, in the night. I have an airsense 10 with a mirage nasal mask. I am getting great numbers on my myair and I feel good in the morning. the issue is my wife doesn't like snoring. I haven't been wearing my chin strap lately, I didn...

Re: Best to wash nasal mask
As was said, the mask does wear out, but my guess is wash it well, readjust and it will be better. Adjustment is critical. I also try and wash my face at night to keep as much oils, etc, as possible off the mask.

Re: Best to wash nasal mask
I wash mine every day. Mild soap, warm tap water and rinse. Feels and smells like new. I didnt have much luck with wipes either. I use baby shampoo, but have used dawn dish soap.
Good luck

Re: Recently switched to full face mask - question
On my airsense 10 i had similar issue. I had bad numbers at my usual pressure of 9cm. When i went to my FFM i got so so seal and ahi of around 37. When i upped my pressue to 10.6 i got better seal and ahi of 4.6. Next time i use it i will go to 11cm and i think that will be it.

Re: Start pressure setting
Thank you. I am feeling much better with cpap, so i wanted a travel/backup machine, so that got me thinking about this. I didnt have much to spend so the airset fit nicely into my plans. I should be all set. Thanks.

Re: Start pressure setting
My settings on my airsense is 5&9. I need to set it to 10.8 for my full face mask when i need it. I get good results with those settings. I know i should have got an autosense, but my supplier had this one waiting for me and at the time i didnt know the difference.

Re: Start pressure setting
Thanks. I will set it at 5. I really dont understand why a cpap would have an adjustable starting pressure, it will ramp up to the max pressure anyway. Im probably overthinking it. Thanks for the help everyone.

Re: Start pressure setting
My airsense 10 has a start pressure of 5, my airstart 10 came at 4. I am curious why the difference, and if i should put both at 5, and basically what difference does it make.
Thanks,
Scott
