Re: Changing run hours on a cpap machine.

Nothing unusual about a low hour machine. Many folks are prescribed Cpap, and tinker with it a couple of nights a week for a few months and quit. Cpap compliance is virtually 50/50, so there are no shortages of low hour machines out there.

Re: Poster's name followed by "Therapy" threads

Measles booster--good idea. At my age, why push my luck? I'm in the 'gap', people much older than I am almost certainly had the measles, people some years younger likely got effective measles vaccines, except for today's kids with idiotic parents, that are the cause of the new epidemic. https://www...

Re: BLEEP Users,............

Thanks for that link, and for the input booksfan. After reading nearly all 29 pages,.....I believe I am going to wait for the second generation, as well as seeing if the price comes down any on the ports as more people adopt this interface. It all sounds very interesting, and I almost surely will tr...

BLEEP Users,............

Since this totally new cpap interface has now been in circulation for awhile, I am looking to see what anyone/everyone that uses/used the Bleep thinks of it. Do you folks find it better than the P10, and/or the Brevida if you happen to use that one? I am considering giving it a shot regardless of th...

Re: Thoughts about CPAP pillows?

I currently use a MyPillow with the Brevida nasal pillow as well. All I do when I turn on my side is move my head a little closer to the edge where the Brevida frame hangs over the taper of the pillow a bit,......No problem! If it doesn't work for you, you might think of going with the P10, as it ta...

Re: F&P Brevida mask just beat my nose

Wow,...if the Brevida gives you issues, I would hate to see what some of the other options would do. I guess I was lucky, I have used the Brevida from day one with zero issues, and without the aid of lanolin or anything else. I also adapted right to the P10 with only minor soreness the first night o...

Re: Sleepyhead shutting down?

Well, this seems quite the complicated situation. I just hope that development continues one way or the other for the sake of all the people this software is capable of helping. I also hope that possibly Jedimark will return after some time has passed. Either way, I wish him well and hope his health...

Re: Sleepyhead shutting down?

Maybe I'm the odd man out here, but I can understand how a person could get a bit upset after spending that amount of time on a project, if another was trying to take any amount of credit for it other than helping. I also fully understand a person needing to possibly 'go dark' if they are dealing wi...

More information in what regard? Compared to what?
I believe she is expressing disappointment in the amount of info that the MyAir app is giving her, and not in reference to SH. Of course I could very well be wrong!

Re: Tomorrow starts no caffeine day 1 - wish me luck

How much caffeine do you consume? Sheriff I think about 16 - 20oz a day. I think what hurts me the most is that when I drink the coffee, I drink it instead of water because I don't like being so full on liquids. Stupid but it is what it is. That's not much, you shouldn't need to taper unless you fe...

Those are two my three furbabies. :D All rescues. I have four grandkitties also. 8) no grandkids yet though. My husband and I clearly passed along our love of animals to our kids. Glad you gave the DME heck! Apria was one of the biggest reasons I decided to go it alone. BTW, I'm an animal lov...

Re: OT: My RFA experience for back/pelvic pain issues

I'm glad to read that it seems possible you might get some relief from this procedure,....I certainly hope so. My situation is very similar to yours minus the broken bones from a car accident. I've tried the hemp oil stuff as well with zero results, so don't feel alone there. I can't stand the idea ...

Re: Resmed AirFit F30

I'd really like to try the F30- the only mask that works for me is the Simplus. I've tried everything! It's not ideal so I'm always hoping I will find a mask I can ah least alternate with it. If anyone doesn't like the F30 and has a small, maybe they would trade me for a Simplus or sell me the F30?...
